I just got a 3month gold card and i put the codes right and everything and when i press done it counties to a screen the allowed me to redeem it and when i try to press redeem a status pops saying please try again later again later status code 801613fb please help

In order to set up an xbox live account you need a few things. First is an internet connection to the Xbox itself. Secondly is an email account, as you need this to set up the live account. Third is an Xbox live subscription for gold if you intend to play games online. When you set up your account, you will be allotted 1 month free of gold subscription, after that, you can buy gold subscription cards at walmart, or kmart, or radio shack. An Xbox live silver subscription is free and allows you to download game content and movies and such, but not play games online. When you connect your box to the internet, you sign in with your profile and your then already on an xbox live silver subscription. You can upgrade to gold again buy either buying a gold card, and entering the code, by redeeming your code through, there is a tab after you push the dashboard button. Or you can choose to put in your credit card information, and have it charge you monthly, three months, or even yearly!

If you have a card for the free trial, there code obscured by silver stuff have scrape off or possibly a cardboard strip to tear off. Once you have your code all you need to to do is bring up the xbox guide (by pressing the big round button in the center of the remote), scroll across to the left-most section and choose the "Redeem code" option. Those features that you cant use are the access. Go to anything that requires xbox live in the main menu and press it. It should then give you a option to connect to xbox live. then you simply follow the on screen instructions and its done!

Press the Xbox button and the menu should come up, then scroll to the left and you should get to the "active downloads" or "marketplace" window, then go down to redeem code. type your code in here and it will come up showing it is a live code then click redeem :)

1.test xbox live connection,to test the xbox live connection you need to press the guide button,then go to the settings blade,select system settings,then network settings,then select test xbox live connection.once you have the result that XBOX Live is up and running then proceed to the next step
2.the next step is recovering of the gamertag,press the guide button,select recover gamertag,it will ask for your gamertag that you have created from the xbox website,then it will ask for the email and password (Note:this is the email that you register from the live website which www.live.com),once you enter this information it will says:Downloading,once the download is complete,it will ask if you wanna join the xbox live gold subscription,you have 2 options you can purchase the subscription using a credit card and the second is thru a prepaid card if you choose to you use the prepaid card please select im not interested or i dont want to join xbox live,then it will ask to create a avatar,the avater is the animated character of you,and once your done with creating the avatar,and it is done

You do have to have an account to check out.

So 1. Sign up for a free account. It allows access to all of the Walmart website, not just the music.
2. Go to the music "store" and select your tunes
3. On the Menu bar there is a "redeem" choice, click that
4. You should be on a page that asks for the code on your card, enter that code exactly as it is on the card
5. When you hit enter, it comes up with the same page (slightly confusing) but you do not have to enter your code again, look near the bottom of the screen and you should have the options to continue shopping or go to check out.
6. If you're done, go to check out, if not go back to shopping and finish selecting your tunes.
