Power light is on & resume light is blinking, in hp officejet K850. Could anyone suggest me a solution for?

The Power light and the Resume light blink.

Print media is jammed in the
device.
Remove all media from the output
tray. Locate and clear the jam. For
more information, see Clear a jam
in the device.
The device carriage has stalled.
• Open the top cover and
remove any obstructions
(such as jammed media).
• Press (Resume button) to
continue printing.
• If the error persists, turn the
device off, and then on again

Try re-seating the ink cartridges and printing a test page. Those were new HP cartridges, right? Not some garbage from a ink cartridge refiller off ebay?

Check the printer again to see if a very small jam is present. If totally clear, press the Resume button. If same result, power the printer Off / On.

pls clean and oiling the catridge rod of your printer.

There is a problem with the proximity sensor for the top door. I have took mine off and soldered the connections over to trick it into thinking the door is closed all the time. I am trying to source a new part

Soon after I posted the problem on this site, I went to different margin setting windows and they all appeared correct. I tried another test page and noticed the printer was off. I turned it back on and it worked perfectly. I had previously unplugged the power and cable and rebooted the system several times to no avail. I also have an HP Officejet 7410 All-In-One so I didn't need the other for everyday operations, just preferred it.
