I cant restart my laptop as new - Acer Aspire One Netbook 8.9" Notebook

May be your bootable disk is corrupted , try to buy a new OS CD or take the new Bootable Disk

Put back the old one see if it starts then?

try download skype and see if you can see your self first, if not try down load new version of software or un-installed the drive and restart your PC. at pc start up it will auto install the new driver

Uninstall the software.
Restart your pc/laptop.
Download again in some other location.
Try installing from this new location.
Restart your PC/Laptop.
Launch the application.

if you have done windows updates with no luck
i would go to device manager
scroll down to find cd.dvd unit
uninstall it
then restart and hopefully windows will detect new hardware and
reinstall it correctly for you

if not please go to the laptops website to get new drivers for it

Have you done all the windows updates ???
start
programs
windows updates
check for updates
install them all then restart laptop

if this does not correct things
start
right click my computer
go to computer properties
device manager
scroll down to find mouse/touchpad
un install it
restart laptop
windows should then on start up find new hardware
and install the touch-pad correctly
and may ask for another restart

if still no good try here www.acer.com
go to support/downloads
find you make model and operating system as in xp or vista or windows 7

then scroll down and find the touch-pad driver
download it
install it
restart and keep fingers crossed

remove your laptop Hard Disk, then by using a Laptop Hard disk connector


connect your hard disk to a PC or another Laptop. then you can use it as a pen driver. now get your data so on....

1) 1st we can uninstall and reinstall the cd/dvd drivers
