The display screen on the nec phone doesnt display the menu. it looks like a barcode. How do i fix that? I also restarted the phone system but it did not work.

NEC Dterm Series I, through internal calls my phone flashes notifying me that I have a call coming through but it doesnt ring. I have tried the volume key ^, that didn't work. Can anyone help me?

Your monitor has a problem on its inverter board. It is an electronic component failure, and often it cost's more to fix it than to buy a new LCD monitor .

Look for, and scan, the "Enable Override" barcode in the Intermec Trakker Antares 2400 Family System Manual, available in the manuals section of intermec.com.

The menu and logo password are the only ones you can reset by yourself, if you lose your master password you must contact NEC to get the release code.

See page 113 on the manual :


NOTE: Do not forget your keyword. However, if you forget your keyword, NEC or your dealer will provide you with your Release Code.

After you call NEC and get the code do the following:

1. Press and hold the POWER button for a minimum of two seconds.
The projector will be turned on and display a message to the effect that
the projector is security-protected.
2. Select [Projector Options] → [Security] from the menu and press hte ENTER
button.
The Release Code input screen will be displayed as well as your Request
Code (24 alphanumeric characters).
3. Enter your Release Code in the Release Code Input screen.
The projector will turn on.
* If the projector is turned on by entering the Release Code, your Security
will be disabled.

do you have VM on this system?

On an NEC Elite you must enter system programming to change the name of the extensions. Unless you have a PC connection to the system this is somewhat complicated. If you would like me to step you through the system programming, please contact me @ 850-326-0394.
