My HTC HD 7 phone keeps turning off it goes to the white screen with green HTC then shuts off and keeps doing the same thing over and sometimes when i try to use it and i tap the screen then it shuts off and does the thing with the white screen and green letters can you help me out please?

It it shows the white and green HTC logo boot screen...then shuts off or loops....this seems maybe software issue.
It may need re flashing of the rom.

remove the accu for 3 seconds and put in again :)

I had this same problem. There could be a few reasons. Starting with the simplest:
Finger placement; sometimes your fingers may wrap around and touch the screen while using it causing the proximity sensor to turn the display off.
Screen protectors; I got lucky because my problem was being caused by the screen protector i was using. It had come off a bit in my pocket and gotten scratched on the part that touches the screen which messed up with the proximity sensor. All i had to do was take off the protector and the problem was fixed.
Sensor Malfunction; The proximity sensor in the phone is malfunctioning and you can try to hard reset the phone but usually if it is malfunctioning you just need to get it fixed or replace the phone. If your phone is still under warranty you should probably use it.

Hold down power button for about 30 seconds (or until phone recognizes power off), let it shut down.Afterwards, hold power button down maybe 10 seconds, release and let it reboot. If it performs normally, great. If not, check the following page:

you either have a defective battery or a mainboard fault inside the phone.

try toggling the volume bar on the right during boot to see if you get option to do a hard reset. If not, try going to your carrier and borrowing another battery in-store to test. If that does not do it, you are probably looking at buying a new phone.

there must be an application creating that prob. most probably a third party software u have installed. u have to hard reset ur cell phone. consult user guide of ur cell for instructions

NOT HD: Make sure red goes to red, white on white, and yellow on yellow, also make sure the switch that is on the xbox wire plug says TV not HD.

HD TV: Make sure red on red, white on white, yellow on yellow, blue on blue, green on green, etc. Also make sure the switch that is on the xbox wire plug says HD not TC
