Hi.

Go into system settings and navigate to parental controls, tap on yes to change parental controls. Where the DSI asks for the password tap on "I forgot", it should then take you to the secret question page. Enter the secret question and you should be able to reset the password. If your son has forgotten his secret question again tap on "i forgot". It will then give you an 8 digit code. Leave it on that screen for the time being. Don't tap OK.
Post that code here and I should be able to provide you with a 5 digit code so you can reset the password and clear the parental settings.

Check Inquiry Number – Call Nintendo Customer Service at 1-800-255-3700 and provide the inquiry number shown here, and the date that is set on your Nintendo DSi. You will then be issued a master key. Tap OK.
Enter the master key and tap OK.

hi, please could you tell me witch password your going on about is it the password when you switch the dsi on or is it the browser password?

Also what country are you in as the European version is different to the us so let me know where in the world you are then i can assist you further ok

  3. If you're doing it right, "reset default" and clear bookmarks" will pop up. You may now let go of the buttons. If "password" pops up, need to try again.
  4. while browser is loading, hold L, R, up, X, B, and select enter failsafe mode to clear bookmarks and restore to factory settings.

If you are talking about the parental control password, (4 digit pin) you will need to say "I forgot" to the questions about the password, and then go on Nintendo's website after it gives you the inquiry key. Enter this key into the box on Nintendo's website and they will give you the master key to your DSi.

If you forgot both your password and security question, you can call Nintendo and they can help you unlock your DSi. The number is 1-800-255-3700. The number displayed is what the support personnel will need to help you unlock your DSi. Hope this helps!

I need to reset my master key password for my dsi
the best way out of this is to go to parental conrols in system settings and when it asks "change system settings?" click yes. when it brings up the numeric keypad select i forgot, and tap i forgot again. Now you should be shown a screen with a number at the bottom, this is known as "the inquiry number", next you need to log onto this web page http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter the inquiry number you just got. next set the current date in your timzone and click reset code. And now you should be good to go with your dsi parental control free! :) Hope this helps

I forgot my pin and password for the parental controls and need the master key so i can hook my 7 year old son up to the internet
In your console enter to the parental control menu and try to change it, when asking for password then:

1. Click "I forgot" twice.

2. Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp

3. Copy the inquiry code where it says "Confirmation Number:".

4. Select your "Current Date in your timezone:"

5. Push the "Get Reset Code" button and get your master code.

6. Try to change again the parental control and use the code provided, the code should work as I tested it many times.

NOTE1: the code generated in this page work as well for Wii and DSi consoles.

NOTE2: If it doesn't work the first time, try going to http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ . Change the time/date on your DSI to match that of Tokyo, London, some other location etc and then try again.

DSi Password Reset. PSP Virus
for the ds, you need to go to parental control, click change settings, click i forgot to both questions, then u will have a inquiry number. call 1-800-255-3700 and provide them with the inquiry number and they will give you the master activation code, then on the next menu, enter this code. and it will give you access to everything.
