Model#FDP635RFR3 Serial#TH1984966 We purchased this dishwasher USED from a friend we attempted to put it threw a cleaning cycle which worked BUT the indicator lights dont appear to light up or very faintly. You really have to look close to see any kind of light. I dont feel I should have to pay to get an answer to my problem. If you can help us it would be greatly appreciated. I might add we also have Fridgidaire Fridge and Stove. Thank You So Much

It could be stuck on clean because it is waiting for the water to reach temperature before continuing. If the element is faulty then it will sit there forever.

Check to see how it's loaded. If something is obstructing either of the spray arms it will not start. I had this same problem and checked to see if there was something impeding the arms - I found there was. Reloaded the unit and it's running like a champ now!

Is this your model FDB1050REC2This is a brand new model and you said you just installed it!
If it is brand new!
You do not have to fix it.
You have a full years warranty, parts and labor!let them fix it no cost to you.
The first thing they will do, . You can do your self!

Go to the breaker and turn it off for 5 minutes and then on again. This should reset the system and this usually is the end to most bad starts!

Well, I've got a different problem. I need a control module!!!

BUT!

The flashing WASH light appears to indicate the door latch (switch) is not fully engaged. I proved that I mine which works, just doesn't pump out/drain water. If I unlatch the door and then press START, the WASH light blinks.

*WARNING* 120V ELECTRICAL CURRENT! ONLY ATTEMPT THIS IS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

The switch is located behind the control panel (5 screws from the inside.) The Hot (Black) AND Neutral (White) wires comes from the electrical input and pass through the switch. You can do a simple continuity check with the power disengaged to test the path through the switch and into the control module (pins 3 & 9m black and white).

Now... anyone have a Control Module (working) they want to give/sell to me so I don't have to go buy a new dishwasher? I just replaced the drain valve on mine :( If you do, you can send me a note vidioteic (at) gmail (dot) com
