The respective Operating Systems probably do not have native driver support for the Wireless chipset on your N120. After your desired OS is installed, connect your wired jack to your interne. Go to Samsung's website and download the driver for your Wireless card, they have a very simple easy to use matrix for selecting the right driver. After you've downloaded the driver, install, reboot and test by unplugging your wired connection. Good luck.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download if available, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers, for spare parts and service, Driver downloads and Installation Instructions as required.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

Based on the information you have provided it seems that the issue might be due to the Audio Driver, which might be un-installed or corrupted.
However, re-installing the Audio Driver should resolve the issue.
