what happens is the pump gets staved for water and this damages the shaft seal, water slowly over time leaks into the motor and pollutes the grease int the bearing and causes it to fail. it's fairly easy fix, just have the motor rebuilt by your local pool pump motor repair guy for about 75.00 and your back up and running. beats paying 200.00 or more for a new motor.

When i turn the switch on the pump buzzes and wont start , then trips the breaker . Help .

Either the pump is seized or the motor start capacitor is open or blown. If you can spin the impeller with your finger it is most likely a start capacitor problem.

Low water flow

sounds like air is trapped in the system somewhere. that is why any pump will surge. check the lines going in to make sure it isn't sucking air somewhere along the way and make sure the discharge line is clear so it can pump out fully.
