Language Just bought HTC Touch Diamond yesterday in Sweden. As the phone is going to be used by an English speaking person, I need to change the phone's language to English. How? Possible by doing a "hard reset"? Or is there any other solution? Regards Marie

    Thank you but don't bother. I imagined someone on this siote would be able to give me a hint. I'm sure I can find it out on Monday from HTC support in Sweden.

Hye! Download 'Schap's Advanced Config 2008' from the web; its free... or you could also use 'Diamond TF3D Config' - both are free tweak-applications; that can help change many setting in addition to its ROM language... try it... Enjoy1

you need to download english rom image file first
after you need to open rom image file with hex editor program
when you opened rom image file first three bytes ENG you need to changed NOR and save it and update your device when its finished you have english version

Go to HTC's website and go to support and select htc touch diamond (make sure its 'diamond' and not 'htc touch'!) and see if there are any rom updates (in english). Make sure it is for your phone + carrier/cell provider, as sometimes there are different rom versions, for different carriers. (depends on your country, so change the country)
