I've bought 1.5 Ton Hitachi Ace Follow Me Split Air Conditioner (RAU018EQD). I'm facing problem with my Remote Control unit. The moment you insert the batteries in it, the display lights gets ON and doesn't go off. The unit does not respond even if you press any button on it and Nothing is visible on it as well. I pressed the Reset button on the Remote as well, but of no use. Please advise and help me.

Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.
