Blu ray shows the "Blu ray Disc" Logo on TV screen and then just show a black creen

Hi! and welcome to Fixya!

It looks like your tv is unable to handle the output video resolution from your bluray. The reason why you do not have picture on the tv screen after the bluray disc logo appears.

You can follow the instruction below to set the video resolution on your player to its lowest resolution:

1. Using your bluray remote control, press the following buttons in order... STOP button (press and release) ....HOME button (press and release)....POP UP/MENU button ( press and release )
Note: press the buttons in order with 1 second interval. Make sure tv and bluray are ON when you try this. If first attempt nothing happens, try this again.

2. When the home menu screen appears after doing the above instruction, you can set the video resolution again manually. Follow the instruction:
Using the BD remote control press HOME button > then go to SETUP > select screen settings > then change OUTPUT VIDEO RESOLUTION to Auto > change also 24P OUT to 1080P // set the BD-ROM 24P OUTPUT to Auto

The next time you turn on the bluray player you will have picture again.

Let me know if this works!

The usb ports on my acer aspire 5532 will not connect the printer cord or my webcam cord what should i do? there seems to be a problem with the connection, one minute it was working and the next the...

Here are a couple of simple steps to try...
1. try switching to the other USB connectors. Windows should detect the hardware on those ports and with Plug-and-Play, install the appropriate drivers.
2. If the above doesn't work, try powering off completely and then powering on again.
If you're still having problems, then you can troubleshoot using Windows Device Manager
1. click on start > Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager button
2. click + to expand on the devices that have red or yellow warnings beside them
3. right-click on the hardware/device in trouble and click on properties then on its troubleshoot button

Testerday we connected to xbox live but today we cant connect why

Are you wireless or are you wired. If you are wireless, sometimes phone signals interrupt the wireless signals if you have a wireless phone nearby. Some wireless phones are very messy with the signals they send.

Picture will not come on.

I found this in the user manual. From what you've said I would check the second paragraph first. I hope this works for you.

On your computer check; Power, Signal Cable.
The TV is using its power management system.
Move the computer’s mouse or press any key on the
keyboard.

On your equipment check (STB, DVD, etc) ; Power,
Signal Cable.
The TV is using its power management system.
Press the Source button on the panel or remote control.
Turn the TV off and on.

Remote problems and now FPA locked

In the worse case:
It is very possible that the remote recieve on the set has gone defective. It is also possible that there is a fault with the processor in the set, and the remote signals are not being responded to.

As for your universal remote, I don't trust them.

Did you try changing the batteries in the remote? Make sure the new ones are actualy in good condition.
