Washer won't start. Power is on, pressed power, then pressed permanent press, then water temp, then start. There is a red light on spin cycle and it just beeps and doesn't start.

"LF" on display (Long Fill - no water or insufficient water supply) Press POWER/CANCEL to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press START/PAUSE. "F9E1" on display (Drain Problem) Press POWER/CANCEL to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press START/PAUSE. "SD" on display (Suds Routine) When excessive suds are detected, a suds routine automatically starts. This routine removes extra suds and assures proper rinsing of your garments. "SD" is displayed during rinsing and at the end of the cycle to inform you that the Suds Routine was activated. Use only HE (High Efficiency) detergents. "F--E--" Variables (Washer Problem) Press POWER/CANCEL to cancel the cycle. Select RINSE, DRAIN & SPIN if there is excessive water in the washer. Re-select cycle and press START/PAUSE.

I understand that your clothes are still wet in your Frigidaire washer, model# GLTF2940FS, but only after the perma press cycle. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Sometimes there can be a miscommunication between the different boards inside your appliance. Restore power and try the perma press cycle. 9. (00001001) Phase 1 to 5 - Size Error

The Display size switch setting does not match that stored in memory.
Action - Reselect the size of Smartdrive by using the SIZE SETTING MODE. Push and hold
the water temp up button, then press the power button to enter SIZE SETTING MODE. Three
LEDs are used to identify size. The cold water temperature LED identifies 5kg. The low water
level LED identifies 6kg. The hold spin speed LED identifies 7kg. If the product has not been
setup before all 3 LEDs will be on. To set the size for 5kg push the wash temp up button then
the power button. To set the size for 6kg push the water level up button then the power button.
To set the size for 7kg push the spin speed up button then the power button. This locks the size
into memory. To check the size is set, start a cycle.

Water still in the bottom of the drum. Empty, clean filter and check pump is turning. Once pressure switch is satisfied no water is left it'll allow the door to open, assuming the door interlock is still ok.

I know you don't want to hear this, but either you did something to the hose filter or you didn't get it plugged back in correctly.

If you banged the water inlet valve in moving it back, it might be damaged.

Suggest you unplug everything and start over.

II might need the actual model number. However, you can go to page 9 on this manual and check if the flashing options can fix the problem. I am assuming you have already tried to turn the power off and back on.

The ohter thing to try is the reset sequence. Within 6-7 secs press High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry/ High Temp/ Heat Dry. All lights should light up, press Start button to exit.

For the Elite (HE) machines:

Press 'STOP' twice, press 'POWER', choose a wash cycle (such as 'NORMAL'), select wash options (water temp), press 'START' to finish the reset sequence.

Other Kemore electronic washers:

Unplug the machine for a minute, plug it in. Press 'PAUSE/CANCEL' twice.

Do you have any error codes?

Does water remain in the washer after the final spin?
If water remains in the washer after the final spin, then the door will not unlock. Drain/Spin or Spin Only to remove any remaining water from the washer. The door should unlock at the end of the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light on?
If the Add A Garment light is on, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed once. Pressing the Start button will restart the washer at the same point where it left off in the cycle.
Is the door locked and the Add A Garment light off?
If the Add A Garment light is off, then the washer door will unlock after the Pause/Cancel button is pressed twice. The door will not immediately unlock while the cycle is running due to a possible high-water level in the washer, high-water temperature, tumbling or spinning. It may take up to five minutes for the washer to stop spinning and draining before the door will unlock. You will hear the door click when it unlocks.
If Pause/Cancel does not work:

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.

NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.
