The problem might be that the game is from 1984 and is out of print. There are a few sites that you can get them from.....for a price. Usually around $4. I even checked the Hasbro site and they didn't have it.

I am looking for Game board instructioons for twas the night before christmas

Hello), My name is Miranda i hope this answers your question this game is for any number of players. Players use a spinner to race each other to the finish and collect “gift” cards along the way.
From the rules:
All Present cards are shuffled, and divided equally among the players. The players all use the same piece, spinning the indicator, and starting from Santa Claus' head-quarters, they moving the piece called Santa Claus, in turn, until he is carried over the entire road, and back to his home again.
At the end of player's move, if Santa Claus stops at a house, the player takes the presents called for, from his pack of Present cards, and lays them aside. A player may not always have all the presents called for and, in that case, he lays aside all that he can.
When a player lands on dot marked "Go Back to Fourth House", "Seminary" or "Orphan's Home" Santa Claus is placed back, as directed, and the player delivers the presents called for, and Santa Claus starts on his travels again, from that place, as before.
The player who first runs out of "Present cards" or the player who has the smallest number of "Present cards" in his hand, after Santa Claus has reached his home again, wins the game.
Components: spinner, 20 cards (pairs of 10 different), and one wood game piece (Santa Claus).

I have all the pieces for the board game, but my first grade class has lost the instructions. Please help!!!!

I looked and this is the best I can come up with,, I'll keep searching, I have made a couple of calls to see if I can get the full instructions e-mailed to me, The way the game works is that each player chooses a game piece and then a picture card that matches with your game piece. Players roll a die to advance. The games gets interesting when two players land on the same space. Then you each draw a card and whoever get the larger number wins and keeps their spot, the other person must go back the number of spaces shown on their card and expose a set of bones on their picture card. If a player lands on a "no more bones" space then they can cover back up the bones that are exposed. Please take the time to select a rating for me to the right. thanks again!!

The top one is the 50th anniversary edition, the middle one general instructions, and the bottom is the gameboard setup.

Hopefully between the 3 you will be able to get playing.

But, if not, here is the link to Hasbro's Contact page.

Harry potter and the sorcerers stone board game manual

Game play is relatively simple considering the complexity of the game and the game pieces! Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Trivia Game is suggested for ages 8 and up, and for 2 to 6 players or teams. Each player or team first selects a wizard hat to represent them on the game board. The sorting hat cards are shuffled and handed out. Each player or team is thus put into one of the four Hogwarts houses (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin).

All game pieces (wizard hats) begin at the center of the game board. As the game begins, the player rolls the die and may move in any direction to the outside of the game circle. Once on the outside, players must move in a clockwise direction though. The game piece will land on a square which will show some sort of magical symbol. These symbols correspond to the question cards... thunderbolt for magic, an animal for magical creatures, a hat for wizards, a castle for places, or a person for muggles (also known as non-magic folk).

If the player lands on one of these magical symbols, the other players will select a question card and read the appropriate question to the player. The player has the option of guessing the answer outright or asking for multiple choice. If the player gets the question right without help, he can choose two charms cards for his collection. If he gets the answer right with the help of multiple choice, he gets one charms card. If he gets the answer wrong, he gets a curse card.

One other symbol can be found on the game squares as well. This one is a wand. If a player lands on a wand symbol, he gets to choose a spell card for his collection.

Play continues with the rolling of the die and movement around the board, as well as through the play of curse and spell cards. Special instructions printed on these particular cards must be followed. Instructions on the board must be followed as well, including having to roll either odd numbers to get out of the Forbidden Forest and even numbers to get out of the Hospital Wing. Special rolls are also required to get out of the dungeon and the trophy room, unless you have a spell card that gets you out of it sooner!

Players work to answer questions correctly in order to accumulate charms cards. Once seven different charms cards have been collected, the player may then proceed back to his house (as determined by the house cards handed out at the beginning of the game). Once there, he must answer a question of the other players' choice in order to win the game.

Rules of play

Each player has nine pieces, or "men", which move among the board's twenty-four spots. The object of the game is to leave the opposing player with fewer than three pieces or, as in checkers, no legal moves.

The game begins with an empty board. Players take turns placing their pieces on empty spots. If a player is able to form a straight row of three pieces along one of the board's lines (i.e. not diagonally), he has a "mill" and may remove one of his opponent's pieces from the board; removed pieces may not be placed again. Players must remove any other pieces first before removing a piece from a formed mill. Once all eighteen pieces have been used, players take turns moving.

Moving the pieces

To move, a player slides one of his pieces along a board line to an empty adjacent spot. If he cannot do so, he has lost the game.

As in the placement stage, a player who aligns three of his pieces on a board line has a mill and may remove one of his opponent's pieces, avoiding the removal of pieces in mills if at all possible.

Any player reduced to two pieces is unable to remove any more opposing pieces and thus loses the game.

Flying

In one common variation, once a player is reduced to three pieces, his pieces may "fly", "hop" or "jump" to any empty spots, not only adjacent ones. Some sources of the rules say this is the way the game is played, some treat it as a variation, and some don't mention it at all. A '19th Century Games Manual
