I have a model 7800 amp and and have been using it with my pc for sometime. I now wish to use with a Phillips Chassis EL1-1u-aa model 37ff7321D/37 TV monitor and the male plugs from my amp do not seem to fit anywhere on the TV. Is there a cable assembly or some other good alternative to connecting to the TV..T hanks so much.

"7800" amp isn't a unique term. Who makes it? An amp with male plugs, really? Most audio devices and amps have female RCA inputs connected by male cables.

All that alphabet soup for the TV gets bupkus, too. YOURS is the only hit on Google.

Go to http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/ and drill down to find the manual for your TV and see what it recommends for audio connection to an amp. Be patient, the initial alpha directories are slow to load.

If the TV programming originates with a Cable Box, use IT as the audio source. TV -audio is usually minimalist.
