Even if your computer does not have a built-in Bluetooth receiver, you can create a Bluetooth dongle, the function adds the system to connect. If the dongle is not working to resolve the situation.

1. Check the system requirements for the Bluetooth dongle. If the system does not fit all the requirements, the device will not work. This gives the computer hardware.

2. Unplug the Bluetooth dongle, restart the computer, plug it into a USB port. If you leave power on the computer with the dongle already instead, the system can not detect the devices. Restart the computer and perform this action helps to correct the problem.

3. Remove the dongle from the USB port and plug it into another compound. Some USB ports do not meet certain computer hardware detection. Changing the connection port fixes this.

4. Install the driver on the included CD driver installation. Without the driver, the computer can not detect and use the dongle. Insert the installation CD driver on your computer and follow the steps on screen to install the driver on the system.

how to turn on bluetooth radio

Which operating system ???...
There are a variety of ways to connect to the Internet or a home/business network using your Hewlett-Packard (HP) desktop computer---via a modem, Ethernet cable and even wirelessly.
A wireless connection works by sending a signal from your modem or router to your HP desktop's built-in wireless radio.
The radio receives and processes the signal so you can access the Internet or a home or business network.
In order for the signal to be received by your HP desktop, you must enable the wireless radio within the computer's configuration.

Click "Start," "Control Panel."
Double-click on the "HP Wireless Assistant" icon.
The HP Wireless Assistant dialog box will open.
Click the "Turn On" button next to the words "Wireless LAN."
Click "Close" to activate the wireless radio.

I have a dell dimension 4600 which is having intermitent problems connecting to the internet via a hardwire connection to a verizon fios wireless router. The router works fine with my dell laptop both when wired and wireless. Updated network driver on the dimension 4600, checked cables, reset TCP/IP and DHCP settings, even rolled back system restore to before problem existed - I am at a loss for what to try next. Any ideas other than getting a new computer or reverting back to my cablevision IP service and modem?

I assumed you adapted the pc with a device for wireless connection ..if all the other are OK ..the problem is this device ......try it on other computer ..if it works ..its just a compatibility issue ..if not its a problem with it ...
also try to change the freqvency they work in ..if it possible ....or change the position ..cause they work on a radio wave and you might interfere with something when it goes out of signal ...
