We are small company and when we are out of the office I want to set up the night mode to divert any incoming calls to a mobile. I have studied the programming manual, the user manual and the feature manual, but, I am non the wiser. I am completely new to this, so any help will be appreciated. Current setup ========== ISDN, 8 extensions. All phones ring with an incoming call both during day and Night. Any help will be appreciated

Don't they have Panasonic Engineers where you are? We don't have ISDN here, but we do have things like software revisions, CF off premise, and flags in 990 and 991 that have to be turned on to forward a call to outside numbers. In our features guide, 4.3.13 Call Forwarding -- To Outside Line, there's a Conditions and Programming Guide References that tell us that you need Class of Service changes and Outside-to-Outside Line Call duration time (206 default 10 minutes) 504 CF to outside line and 601 Class of Service programs to change.

How do we make internal calls with Panasonic KX-T7433 handsets?

By default, Panasonic numbering is 101-164 and 201-264. The Intercom gives you dial tone and you dial the 3 digit extension number. Dial 0 should ring extension 101. Normal digital phones start at 101-116 on a TD816/1232 cabinet.

I'm using Panasonic KX-T7730. and Panasonic Advanced Hybrid System KX-TES824BX . Please help me.I need to make security lock for outgoing calls ...

In programming you can set up Forced account codes for Local, Toll, or All calls. The extension is flagged in program 605 or 2.1 of the system and the codes are put in 310 or 1.5. It's one of 2 ways you can do it, you can also change Class of Service on each phone to deny them access to certain numbers.

Keep in mind that this is programming for a TA-824 release 3.0. We know loop start CO lines and no ISDN or BRI. Your system may be different.

I would like to change all my extension directory to reflect all new employees.

It's a cumbersome task, best done by the dealer from the Maintenance Console. If you have phone access to Manager's programming, the names reside in program 004. Like a Cell phone, you use the keypad to spell out the names. Full instructions are located in the Operations Manual of a TDA system.

Are you able to redirect calls coming into the Panasonic KX-T7630 phone system to a mobile handset phone

I can, but I'm not sure you can. On this side of the pond, we can send an inward CO call to an ICD group which has a forwarded number programmed into it. For example we usually take the owner's station and add 400 to it so his extension may be 110 and 510 is his cell phone. That way, it can be dialed from an intercom, as a transfer, from voice mail, or as a call forward argument.

Ring your engineer if you're not familiar with ICD groups and Panasonic programming. They should be able to guide you and tell you whether it can be done, especially if you have ISDN trunks.

Extention Display Name

This detailed instruction is not in the small book that came with the phone. It will be found in the binder or full sized publication titled “User Manuel’ for the models KX-TD816 and KX-TD1232 that came with the phone system.
You will want to use the overlay that DID come in the smaller book. You will place it on top of the buttons and it will provide programming commands listed in the instructions.

Page 71 has the “Getting into programming” details.

[Program], **, 1234

Now you are in user programming mode.

Page 87 will instruct you how to program names.

Press 004, [Next], [jack number] (ext 101 = jack #01-1, ext 102 = jack #02-1 ect…)
Once the jack and the old name are displayed, press [Clear] and then start pressing the letters according to the “Overlay”. (3 = 3 D E F) press the S-button that displays the correct character. S-buttons are the 3 buttons directly below the display. When you are done press [Store] and you can press [Next] to se more jacks or just exit by pressing [Program].
