Usally you do not have to replace the pressure roller until your machine goes over 2mil. copies. sometimes it does need to be cleaned. you can clean it by scraping the pressure roller with scissors to remove the built up ink. to remove the pressure roller.1. Remove the drum2. if you look the pressure roller is held in by 1 screw on the frame of the machine. there is a hole in the frame to put a Philips (+) head screw driver through and remove 1 screw. BE CAREFUL NOT TO DROP THE SCREW!.3. gently push the pressure roller to the rear of the machine slightly then lift it up and pull towards you.
to reinsert the pressure roller line it up with the cutouts where it was removed the pull it towards you to secure it. then screw it back in.
PRECAUTIONS FOR REASSEMBLY make sure the pressure roller is well seated on both ends of its holders (front and back) and that it spins freely. if the drum does not go back in easly something is wrong.
