Is this a new condition?
Or has it operated differently in the past?

If you are connected to any kind of box (satellite for example), there is only one channel that the TV sees; usually 3 or 4.

The channel changes are limited to the box.

Cannot scan for channels on remote

The remote model number doesn't help directly. This remote controls several Sanyo TVs including the DP46142 and DP32242. Manuals Lib has the owner's manual (copyright 2012) here: https://www.manualslib.com/products/Sanyo-Dp46142-77711.html . Press Menu (below and to the left of the arrow keys). Select Setup (the icon that looks like a satellite dish) using the left/right arrows. Press the down arrow and go to ANT/Cable setup. Press OK (in the center of the arrow keys). Use the left/right arrow keys to make sure that the Ant In line is set to Antenna. Press OK. Go down to Auto Setup and press OK. Choose from All Channels, Analog Channels and Digital Channels and press OK again. Select Apply and press OK when the scan is finished. (All channels and Digital Channels will work the same way since most analog channels are no longer broadcasting.) See https://www.manualslib.com/manual/306779/Sanyo-Dp32242.html?page=22#manual . Note: digital channels will not display if the signal strength is low. You may need a different antenna or a different antenna placement. See antennaweb.org or tvfool.com for suggested station transmitters.

I hope this helps.

(note: the physical buttons on the TV should work to navigate the menu. Use the channel buttons for Up/Down and volume for left right. The OK button is the Input button.)

How do I tune in my TV LE26R73BDXJXEU AEL53SDL704282P AM01

First, make sure that the source is set to TV. (Use the TV button at the top left of the remote to ensure that the TV is being controlled by the remote. The Source button is the one to the right of the Power button on the remote. It's the top button on the side of the TV. ) Next press Menu. (On the remote, it's the button to the upper left of the arrow keys. It's the second button from the top on the TV side panel.) Use the Up/Down arrow keys to navigate to Channel. Press Enter. (Note: the channel buttons at the bottom of the side panel buttons match the Up/Down arrows of the remote. The Source button on the TV is the Enter key.) Press Enter again and use the Up/Down arrow keys to highlight your country. Press Enter. Navigate to Auto Store and press Enter twice. Wait for the TV to go through the channels and test for signal.

You can also add channels manually by using the Manual Store option. If you know the channel number, you would then choose Channel and select C (over-the-air) or S (cable) and then the Right arrow key. Use the arrow keys to highlight the desired channel. Press Enter. Use the arrow keys to select Store and press Enter again. Otherwise choose Search. Use the Up/Down arrows to select a channel. Press Enter, go to Store and press Enter again. Repeat this for each channel.

The manual for the LE26R73BD is available on the support page: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LE26R73BDX/FID/ . The current link to the manual is https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200603/20060325173246984_BN68-01007A-00Eng-0302.pdf.

I hope this helps. If you use a set top box with a non-RF coaxial cable output to the TV, the channel option will not be available.

How can I auto scan channels on Polaroid TV without a remote? I've done it before but can't remember what to do once it asks if I'm sure I want to scan...none of menu buttons will work.

Which model do you have? In general, first make sure that the source is set to TV. Look for a Source or Input button on the TV. On some models, the buttons will be on the back of the TV. On others, the control panel buttons are on the side or under the front bezel. Now, try the Menu button and use the Up/Down arrows to go to the Channel icon. Press the Menu button again. Then use the arrow keys to make sure that the TV is set for Cable or Over-the-Air as needed. Press Enter to change this using the Left/Right arrows. Press the Down arrow to get to the Auto-Scan option and press Menu to launch the scan. Often, the Channel Up/Down arrows are the equivalent of the Up/Down arrows on the remote. The Volume +/- buttons are function as the Left/Right arrows.

These directions apply to the Polaroid 19GSR3000; the manual for this is available here: http://polaroidhdtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/UM_19GSR3000.pdf . You can find other manuals for some Polaroid TV models using the drop-down menus here: https://polaroid.com/support . The Polaroid manuals for TVs from 2014 and later are here: http://polaroidhdtv.com/support/#tab-id-2 .

I hope this helps.

On mx900 genesis universal remote the up down arrows to change channels will not work - cannot get guide to display -cannot change channels using#key pad - volume up down work fine suggestions?

Incorrect code. Try different programming codes for one that operates your TV correctly. Note not all universal remotes will work all features of a tv. Sometimes all you can get (especially on lower end remotes) is power and volume

—Use the right/left arrow buttons to scroll across to the “Setup” menu

—Use the up/down arrow keys to select “TV” and “Quick Setup”

proper HDTV programming information

• Continue with arrow keys to select your signal source “Air/Cable/IRC/HRC”

—If you use a cable service, select “Cable,” “IRC” or “HRC” (depending on the frequency

used by your cable service)

Lost remote control how to i move the arrows ithout control

Normally the CHANNEL UP / DOWN and the VOLUME UP / DOWN buttons on the front of the TV set itself will function like the arrow keys on the remote when you are navigating the TV's ONSCREEN MENU.

Otherwise, you can always go out and buy a universal replacement remote control and program it for use with your TV.

I hope that helps, good luck and take care.

I have a Sanyo tv ( model #DS19330 ) and using a Sony remote to operate it. I am trying to restore channels 14-69 by scrolling through the channels with the remote. I can punch all channels in by...

It sounds like that the TV was set to skip certain channels. You need to rescan for channels or manually edit the channel list. To manually add channels, press Menu on the TV (or the equivalent key on the Sony remote if you found a code that works). Then use the Up/Down arrows (channel change keys) to select Ch Scan Memory + . Then enter the number of the channel (numerically or up and down arrows). Press + (volume + key) to change the setting from Deleted to Added or vice versa. Since you do not have the original remote, I'm not sure if the Sony remote will match the Reset key of the original remote. Unfortunately without that key being pressed twice, you can't reset the entire channel list and cause the channel search to begin automatically.

The manual for the DS19330 TV is here: http://www.sanyotv.com/DS19330%20%28ESF%29%203764--.pdf . (I'm assuming you haven't recently added cable after only receiving only OTA signals. If you have changed inputs like that, you need to go through the menu and change the source.) Menu > Cable or Air .

I hope this helps.

Hello
There are two types Zenith TVs. One type will have "Menu" button on its front panel and other will not. If your Zenith is the first type, you can programme it without a remote control. If it is the second type, you must have a remote control hanset to programme it.
Programming method
First connect the TVs antenna socket at its back with external antenna or cable.

* With the remote control in hand, press the POWER key to
turn on the Presentation TV.
** Press MENU repeatedly until the Setup menu appears.

*** Using the Up/Down arrow on the remote control, highlight
Auto Program on the screen

**** Press the Right or Left arrow to go to the Auto Program
menu.

***** Using the Up/Down arrow, choose either Cable TV or Off-
Air Antenna on the screen.
****** Press the Right or Left arrow to begin the Channel Search.
******* Press ENTER when the channel search is done.

Note: Auto Program finds channels being received by the TV
tuner
Cable will not work unless you subscribe to a cable service
