Mine does this on occasion still but its actually the square box connection from headlight located just under your tanks edge. I had to fiddle and jiggle to figure it out but pushing it together real good and making sure it wasn't pinched by tank etc fixed it. Came right on. I to thought my headlight blew but realized turns and horn also didn't work. ITS JUST THE CONNECTION CONNECTOR I even used a bit of duct tape to hold the wire to the frame area where it comes down and then under tank edge. (Throttle side)
Hi, does the bike start and run, if yes, apart from lights and horn check what else works or does not work. If the bike won't start try checking the battery if OK find the starter solenoid and check the fuse on that. I had a similar problem many years ago on a Honda. turned out to be a blown rectifier/regulator. If you do cure the fault please remember to check the battery charging circuit is working properly. At idle a meter reading of around 13 volts is normal this should rise to 14/14,5 volts at 5,000 rpm. Hope this is some help.
SOURCE: brake light does not work
remove the bulbs step on the brake and ck for power at the terminals inside the socket if no power back track the wires and look for a break in the wires.use a didgital volt meter and ck for continuity through the switches( unplug the switch and put the probes to both terminals one on each the meter should beep ---switch good.........

try the connections on the starter and the solenoid they could have corrosion which will affect the starter.if they are corroded just clean them up with a wire brush.
