My child sprayed something on the screen of the tv and now it has a huge black spot in the corner of the tv. I was wondring if there was a way that you can take off the front screen to wipe it out.

Yes the screens do come off so you can clean in between the layers. But a service manual is reccommended to remove the assembly. But I will post the proceedure below for you.

try cleaning the lens & mirror, there may be something in there. other wise may need a new light engine. If the light engine is what's causing the issue, recommend replacing the TV with a NEW LED or LCD TV, due to costs.
Sorry the LCD screen panel are 90% cost of the tv.No where will be able to buy the LCD screen for the replacement,but the tvs corporations themselves,they'll sell it to u,but charges u the same as a new tv.Sorry tv not worth as a whole tv anymore,now tv only worth as a salvages electronic boards for other tv that it.
one of the floresant bulbs has fail there is a place in Haverhill Ma called Tops Electronics that can fix you up really quick but you will have to ship it to them they do good work there

the lcd panel for the blue is bad normally you would have to replace the engine but i know a place where you can get it rebuilted for a price cheaper than the engine go to

Is it a fuzzy spot or an actual hard edged black spot?LCD televisions can have a loss of pixel display- most very small. Was the TV hit with something or dropped against something (the screen)?
