Kodak M763 how to transfer pictures from computer tp camera?

Use a card reader to copy pictures from the computer.

The camera is designed to capture pictures for ultimate transfer to a computer. It's not really intended to receive pictures from a computer. Thus the camera's data transfer capabilities are designed to go one way. To go the other way you need to use some other device, such as a card reader.

Be aware that if the pictures were taken by a different camera, or have been edited in any way, then the camera may not display the pictures. Opening a picture in a photo editing program and saving it without making any changes counts as editing.

How to get the pcitures from the camera to the computer

There are 2 ways of doing this:

1. You can use the camera as a plug and play device. (Dont install any Kodak software and you will find your camera as a removable device. You can simply right click on it and select get picture.)

2. Have Kodak Easyshare Software installed, connect the camera and select transfer all.

If this doesnt apply to you, please advise what happens when you try to transfer? Do you get any error messages?

Why won't some of my photos transfer to the picture files? These photos are treated as if they are duplicates which they aren't.

I spoke to someone on the IM chat at the kodak website, and took me through the steps that seems to get around that problem, if its a kodak c913. they are; open the easyshare software. connect your camera. if a transfer window opens automatically, close it. in the easyshare software window open the 'add picture button'. then select the folder with the name of your camera 'kodak c913'. all your pictures should load as if it would through the automatic transfer window, select whatever pictures you want to add, clock add pictures, then done, and it doesnt come up with the error message of the software believing there is duplicates.
