Hi The fan is this oven dosn't always work! Sometimes if you give it a gentle nudge it will start to spin other times it just wont spin at all & some times it works perfectly! any ideas on how to...

You need to change the fan motor. These motors are not very powerful and wear in the bearing can cause this effect. oiling the bearings is only a tempory fix and you will eventually end up changing the motor.

Have a new electric cooker but the oven and 1 of the hob plates isn't working dc5422 beko

hi chances are that the internal thermal cutout fuse has gone this fuse is situated on the right hand side of the cooker when you have taken the back plate off about half way down it has two wires attached to it and is screwed with a self tap on the right hand corner of the body of the cooker near the middle of the cooker. You can buy this part and have it delivered for about £6 so is a very cheap fix.

I have a frigidaire mef352bgwd electric oven- after a power outage the lock engaged (door open) and now blinks continually. Tried shutting off breaker for 30 minutes- no change.

There is a pin that tells the oven the door is open, you need to push it in an hold it. It is pretty stiff, you can't use your bear hand. It will be in the upper left of where the door closes.

Neff fan element

All of this can be done with the oven in situ. Take the back off if you like, but its un-necessary, dirty and time consuming. So here we go: Power off at mains. Remove 4 screws holding plate which guards the fan. You will be faced with the fan partially obscuring the top element retaining screw. At the centre of the fan spindle is a reverse threaded nut. WD40 the nut. Wait a minute or so and using a socket wrench and a flick of the wrist, the reverse thread nut should losen v easily. Having mastered the lock nut, tap the washer and it should become loose enough to remove by hand. If not, it just needs a little gentle persuasion with a flat head screwdriver where it sits on the fan itself. The grime will loosen and it will pop off. Squirt some WD40 onto the fan spindle, and wait a couple of minutes. Ignore any advice to lock onto the threaded spindle because if you damage it, your relatively cheap repair will become pretty expensive. Simply use a locking mole grip on the fan itself where the locking nut sits against it and pull and twist gently away from the spindle. You will be surprised how easy this is. Very little chance of damage. You can then access all 5 element retaining screws. Gently lever out the left foot of the element from the oven housing. Remove the spade connectors from the old element. Reversal of these instructions to fit the new element. Restore mains power. Reset clock or main oven will not work.

Bosch oven heater ring replacement

Hi, the fan is held in place with a left handed nut, once undone, then remove the steel drive washer by giving it a light tap, finally it is a case of shear brute force applied evenly. All you need is a 10ml spanner and a medium size cross head screwdriver plus a bit of muscle.

Oven fan noisy/broken

this noise probably means that the fan is about to stop working, this is what happened to mine. You can easily buy replacement fan off E-bay (it seems easier to find the right fan on e-bay that any of the confusing supplier sites). You then just need to remove the inside oven back and the outside electrical to replace the fan.
