Paper jam light is on

Look real close. It is difficult to see very small pieces of paper that coudl be lodged in many areas. Also if you take a clean cloth with a little rubbing alchol and clean the sensors, this may help

Online error light nothing prints

I have a ML 1710 .Not my area of expertise but I took out the paper and could not see a jam. Took toner out , a little cleaning, plugged and unplugged from computer several times. I found paper jammed in the very back ,folded so tight nothing was showing. Mine has a back door and the paper is having trouble rounding the last bend and coming out. So I leave the back door open to get my copies. Green light on.

Hi i have a problem during printing is the paper is strucking in the middle of during printing processes the printer modle number is Dell 1710

Hi, the printer manual or the printer itself would have instructions on how to remove paper jams. Also loosen the guides alongside the paper feed a bit to ensure it is not holding onto the paper sides too tightly as this will continue to cause jams.

All lights on Dell 1710 printer panel simultaneously flashing.

do you or have you recently started using recycled paper. I know for a fact that recycled paper and Dell printers dont get along very well. It's the dust and it will block the hole for the sensor which could show an error or make the printer think there is a paper jam. Youneed a can of compressed air and thoroughly clean it out. If that does not work you can remove completely the software from the pc, let the pc reboot and reload the drivers and software. good luck

1710 Printer

The problem in my case was not fixable, the small switch sensor inside the printer had broken free, the engineer's informed me that it would cost far more to fix the problem than it would to buy a new printer.

Dell 1710

If that is the only light:
Remove the toner cartridge and firmly shake it from side-to-side and front-to-back several to use the
remaining toner, and then reinsert it and continue printing. Repeat this procedure multiple times until
the print remains faded. When the print remains faded, replace the toner cartridge

If not let me know.
