Black screen and when I use the windows media, I get the scratchy sound like its trying to connect but it can't? Trying to use the wintv 7 latest download but it gives me a black screen with no sound at all. tried changing the rate but still not working? Any guesses, using windows 7 on a MSI A6000 lap top.

Okay, Media center does not work with some Wintv HVR's yet it will work with the software it came with and sometimes media center will use the wintv software to make it work but its sketchy. If you want a more media center compatiable card look at www.microsoft.com website they have a list of media center compatable Tv tuner cards, Trust me I am having the same problem with my tuner card now and its not wintv its a RCA and its under windows 7 this is just the thing here not all card work with media center.
