Verify that the correct settings and cable/connectors (rollover cable, correct COM port specified) are being used when establishing the console connection.

From the manual-

3.9.2 Connecting to an IBM or Compatible Device

To connect an IBM PC or compatible device, running the VT terminal emulation, to an
Enterasys Networks module Console port (Figure 3-20), proceed as follows:
1. Connect the RJ45 connector at one end of the cable (not supplied) to the Console port on the
Enterasys Networks module.
Connecting to Console Port for Local Management
Hardware Installation 3-31
2. Plug the RJ45 connector at the other end of the cable into the RJ45-to-DB9 adapter (supplied
with the device).
3. Connect the RJ45-to-DB9 adapter to the communications port on the PC.
4. Turn on the PC and configure your VT emulation package with the following parameters:

Can i connect my wii console to my tv thru my dish network dvr

I hope that you have found the proper solution for this. The Wii console only has an "out" port, no "in" ports. This means that you can only connect the Wii to the tv, and nothing to the Wii, so you are not able to connect this between your receiver and tv.

I have a Cayman 3347w wireless router and I am trying to use one of the wired slots to connect my xbox 360 to the internet. the xbox will not connect. is this router xbox compatable?

Please try the following steps below;

To make a router connection to Xbox LIVE:
  1. Before you connect any cables, turn off your router, modem, PC, and Xbox 360 console. (Unplug your modem from its power source to turn it off.)
  2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your modem and the other end to the Ethernet input port on the back of your router.
  3. With another Ethernet cable, connect one end to one of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to your PC's Ethernet port.
  4. With the third Ethernet cable, connect one end to another of the router's Ethernet output ports. Connect the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the Xbox 360 console.
  5. Turn on your modem, then your router, then your PC.
  6. Make sure your PC can access the Internet. If not, you may need to configure the router for Internet access. For help configuring the router using your PC, check the instructions that came with the router.
  7. Turn on your Xbox 360 console and sign in with your profile.
  8. If this is the first time you've turned on your Xbox 360 console, see Create Your Gamer Profile to get started with both the Xbox 360 system and Xbox LIVE play.
If you're unable to connect to Xbox LIVE, you can try to diagnose the problem right on your console. Go to My Xbox and open System Settings, then select Network Settings (setup XBOX using Automatic Configuration DHCP), Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Hope this helps!

Can the modem's ethernet port connect to a video game console?

Most modems that have both usb & ethernet connectors are either/or, not both. I recommend using
the ethernet connection to your computer than the usb - the ethernet connection is faster & more
reliable. It also frees up your usb port for other use. If you want both your computer & game console on
the internet, then you need to buy a router which will allow you to share the modem.

Controller will not connect to game

To connect a controller to Xbox 360 console:
Wired Controller:
1) Simply plug in the controller into one of the three USB ports avaiable on the system. Two of which are on the front of the console( next to the power button, there is a small door, it is marked by two dots on top, open it and you will find the two USB ports, the third USB port is on the back of the system)
Wireless Controller:
1)Press and hold the Xbox guide button until the controller turns on.
2) Make sure that the console is on, then press and release the connect button on the console( the button next to the memory card slots)
3) Press and release the connect button on the Xbox wireless controller, if connected the ring of lights on the controller will stop blinking, one of which will now be constantly lit, The same will occur on the ring of lights on the console itself

Ps2 console

Sounds as if it has been dropped .....or an impact to the controller port while one was plugged in. in some cases the in side of the port can become full of dust and dirt causing light rusting creating a loss of connection ...but an impact can break a small chip on the back of the controller port inside the machine , try cleaning out the controller port and check to make sure the metal tabs are clean and un bent.
