I bought a kitchen assistant model 2774 from a yard sale. Was told it was never used and box was still sealed. I opened it the other day and there is no blade with it? Where can I get one?

Check to see if the jar has any cracks or if the blade assembly or collar have any cracks. Is it possibly leaking from the tap valve? If the blades or tap lever are cracked I would recommend replacing them, however if the jar is cracked i would just buy a new blender. These are great for smoothies but they are all discontinued and parts wont be available for much longer.
The seal is just not available by itself, you need "Blade assy w/ring seal" part number 123250-000-000. Available from Sunbeam at 1-800-458-8407 or online here.
If you cannot find one, well in the "Old" days we used to make gaskets out of Thick Brown Paper Bags. Using the OLD gasket as a template simply trace around it & cut it out. Lightly Oil it and use it as normal. Usually works great, sometimes you need two, to get the thickness.
this is from their site please try this best regards mike

Hi there, you might want to check the swithing mechanism that turns the motor ON. I don't think the motor will fail, specially if it doesn't smell like it's burnt.
Just an idea...
