HELLO Im trying to download whatsapp on my Nokia C3 - but it says File format not supported.

Should be on the Ovi store.

Try restarting your phone then open whatsapp and try verifying your phone again

i have got same problem............ i solved it....... take out ur memory card ...... just dial*#7370#.... phone will be formatted...

again if u download ur whatsapp appliaction you can can use it for freee

For S60 symbian operated nokia mobiles: The whatsapp messenger is free for 1 year and its the trail period.And after the trail period i.e., 1 year you have to purchase it for $0.99 USD/year.So,if you've used it for 1 year then the trial period is over and you gotta purchase it.

For S40: I think your phone C3 is S40 and whatsapp for your mobile is not currently supported by the company and also the carriers Airtel, Idea, Vodafone, Tata Docomo and possibly others in India are currently unsupported.So wait for some time until the support is extended by the company

Insert card into your phone but don't access it through phone.

Run FE Explorer and Open the path C:\system.

You will find a file called mmcstore ,rename the file mmcstore.txt

Copy that file(mmcstore.txt) to your pc and open that file in notepad.

You will find your password in that file.

Nokia C3-00 uses Symbian S40, and unfortunately there is no whatsapp or Skype for it.

WhatsApp can only be on Nokia Symbian S60.

The Nokia C3 is based on the 'old' Symbian S40 operating system and will not support WhatsApp ... and Skype !!!

There are many other Nokia applications that will not work under Symbian S40 for the Nokia C3 range.

Hope it clarifies the situation for the many Nokia C3 users!

whatsapp is available for certain Nokia mode , but NOT for C3.

on your computer and then transfer it in your memory card and the install it.

this simply means that your phone does not support the (maybe) the version of the application..
just goto sharemobile.com on your mobile phone, so you can download another one
