When printing, it keeps printing the test page first. How can it stop printing the test page??? thx

  • cuttedk Jun 22, 2011

I did pressed the reset for 5 seconds, all the lights on and off with reset sign. But after that, it does not ask me to print the test page. I turned off the printer and on and it still prints the test page first and then the actual prints.

I connected my hp C5180 to my pc then printed a test page, it started to print and hasn't stopped. It just keep printing pages of code. How do I stop this???? Tried cancelling, tried turning off...

YOU NEED TO GO TO PRINTERS...AND CHANGE HOW PAGES YOU WANT TO PRINT...AND TAKE THE PAPER OUT OF PRINTER, SO IT DOESN'T USE UP ALL YOUR INK!

HOPE THIS HELPS!

Lexmark E 342 n paper jam with error code 201

According to the LexMark support page, this is most often related to not getting the print cartridge assembly properly positioned. (Left and right sides not fully in place). Another possible source is paper in the output tray when using the double sided printing feature. (This leads to grabbing an extra sheet when it tries to retrieve the paper to print the second side. Paper stock thickness will change the number of pages printed before this happens.).

I hope this helps.

My hp deskjet 5150 will not stop printing

If you are using Windows XP

1. Click start then run then type in cmd then click ok.
2. Type in NET STOP SPOOLER

After that in the lower right corner of your screen you should see a printer icon. Delete the queueu

If that still does not work Unplug the power from the printer then wait for 5 mins then restart your computer and turn it back on.

Would be better if u elaborate the issue.
For confirmation, are u able to print the self test page from the printer? This will make sure that the printer hardware itself is working fine.

Prints test page every time the printer is turned on

This might be an alignment page. To get it to stop, you will have to go through the alignment and new cartrige setup in the hp software. This should be located under Start/All Programs/HP folder. I'm not sure what the software would be called but it should be easy to do if you have the HP software installed. Hope this helps!
