According to the manufacturer it is not recommended you use Epsom salt in this product as long term use can cause corrosion to the water jets. I hope this helps.

How do I soak using hot water?

Epsom salt can also quell foot odor, help heal fungus or ingrown nails, and soothe dry skin. You'll find this healing salt at most **** stores and pharmacies. In a standard size tub, dissolve one cup of Epsom salt in warm water and soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes.

Can I add epsom salts into the water for a heated foot soak?

If you want a heated foot soak I suggest you put hot water and epsom salts into one of those plastic dish-washing bowls and find a comfortable chair to sit in while your feet are immersed until the water is quite cool.

I certainly would not add anything to hot tubs or anything else unless it is specifically recommended.

Cloudy water

Always clean you jet tub as directed by the manual. If you don't have one, than fill tub above the jets, add liquid dishwasher gel (not tabs) with bleach and run through the jets for 20 minutes. Drain, fill with clean water and run two times to clean the tub and jets and then use. Be sure your metal filter is clean of hair and soap debris. This will keep your tub and jets nice and clean. Also recommend using Epsom salts and either essential oil of lavender or eucalyptus to your bath. Both essential oils have antibacterial properties. If you want it simpler, purchase Dr. Teal's lavender soak from the drug store. Happy soaking!

Will epsom salts harm whirlpool

DO NOT use products with glycerine or oil in any Jacuzzi or whirlpool bath. It will harm the jets. Label oil or glycerine-containing gifts, "Not for Jacuzzi or whirlpool!"
