The nokia 2330c-2 phone goes off after a while when its been switched on. it can only stay on when any operation is going on, on the phone like playing radio or music or pressing the phone often so the backlight don't go off. i mean immediately the is left for a while and the backlight goes off, the phone trips off. it can only on if i put it on from the on button.

All I can say is a HARD RESET will solve your problems(and eventually all your problems)!
First backup the important stuff like the contacts, messages, apps, etc. using the Nokia Content Copier available from the Nokia PC Suite.
Then switch off your phone.
Now, press and hold the ' * - Star', '3', & 'Call - The Green key that you use to recieve a call' together and switch on your phone. Keep the above mentioned keys pressed till you see the "Select Region" screen.

Check if battery on the phone depletes fast. If there's nothing wrong with the battery try poercycling the phone (turning phone off and removing battery from the back and insert battery after 1-2 mins). If the problem persist try master resetting the phone. Remember that by doing the master reset it will delete some of your saved info on the phone.
