Hi there. Our Jura Impressa x7 unit was running the descale program and towards the end of the 45 program required the water tank refilling. Having replaced the tank half full with water, the machine did not sem to recognise the tank had been filled and continued the audio beeping suggesting it still required filling. This continued for what seemed a lifetime so I turned it off at the wall to see if it would reset itself. Alas, no! Upon switching the machine on, the machine requested the unit to rinse but again a message was displayed to fill the water tank - despite there being plenty of water in the tank. Any ideas? Many thanks Gill

SOURCE: jura impressa f9 malfunction 8 i need help whats

Malfunction 8 means that the brew unit can not get in the right position in the right time. This is usually because the brew unit is full of old coffee grounds. Try to shut down the machine for one day. The next day, take out the tray and clear out all coffeegrounds inside the brewunit. Use your fingers and maybe a small towel. You can do this right away, but it is easier when everything`s dried up. When all this is cleaned up, start manually a Cleaning program. This should solve your problem.

If it doesen`t, i could be that the o-rings inside the brew unit is defective and needs to be changed.

SOURCE: error 6 for jura impressa z 5 ?

Error 6 means that the automatic ceramic valve having a problem reaching the right position. This is usually related to the main electronic board and there is a chance that this needs to be changed. There could be a possibility that the multivalve is broken, but if you can hear it turning when you start up the machine, it`s probably ok. SOURCE: Jura Impressa F50 - tray - fault 8

Hi, if you havn't already solved this one, it has been caused by pulling the drip tray/ dump box out while the brew unit was still active. Switch off the machine and insert the drip tray without the dump box. Turn the machine back on and the brew unit should re align itself.

Jura X7, is brew cycle, water does not dispense, comes out of drainage valve?

Have you descaled it regularly? Do you have hard water?
Sounds like it's clogged with scale. Try running white vinegar and water through, see if that unclogs it.

My Capresso s8's display is blinking and making strange noise

All Jura machines in the series C, E, F, J, S & Z models have the same problem. The Jura recommended maintenance is insufficient or erroneous:
1- When new machine is set up, the owners click OK for use of Filter cartridges. This helps only to display reminders for replacing the filter.
2- The instruction also advises, regular use of Filters, eliminates descaling the machine. That is not accurate. Reminders for descaling are delayed or eliminated. This allows accumulation of Calcium deposits in the entire hydraulic and coffee system.
3- Cleaning tables recommended & sold by Jura do not remove Calcium deposits in the coffee/water passages. The automatic descaling method recommended by Jura also leaves the coffee side of the machine unclean. The error message in your machine is due to Calcium deposits in the Brew group, coffee outlet & the faucet dispensing coffee in the cup. I suggest all Jura machine owners should manually descale machine. Manually descaling includes use of 6 to 10 rinse cycles with descaling solution in the water tank. The error message "Clean Machine" is accurate & pointing to descaling the Brew group, coffee outlet tube and coffee dispensing faucet by using rinse cycles.

After the rinse cycles are complete, refill Descaling solution & continue descaling the rest of the machine using hot water dispensing function, until the tank is empty. Finally, give a final flushing of machine to flush out remaining descaling solution inside the machine.

Jura impressa x7 does not rinse and coffee does not come out. I do get steam for froth etc

Jura x7 coffee machines are older models in the coffee machine range. It may simply require a full system clean, using jura cleaning tablets, or more likely a service. Bean to cup machines should really be serviced every year to 18 months depending on usage.

How long does it take to declacify as mine as been doing it for 2 hours now. I can see that there are similar ? that have not been solved on the website

It runs until the water runs out so if your water tank is full it will run a very long time. Use only the amount of water specified in the manual.

We get the message Unit Cal.Fied - what to do?

You need to run the Decalcyfying program. Push and hold the button with the symbol that looks like a tube with small dots inside. You will get the message empty tray and empty grounds. Do so, and put everything back. The message Solvent or Agent in tank will be displayed. Meassure up 700ml water in a container, put 3 Descaling tablets in the water and let it be completly desolved before you pour this into the empty watertank. It`s very important that you don`t use more liquid, this will make the program run forever. When the solvent is in the tank, push the buttoun again, and the program starts. After a while (20 minutes or so) you will be asked to empty tray/grounds again and to fill the watertank. At this point you can fill up the watertank, this will not affect the running of the program. In the end, you must empty tray/grounds again, and after this the machine is heating up and ready to use. Good luck!

Where do you put the cleaning tablets in a jura impressa x7-s?

add a capfull of the cleaning fluid to a litre of water, insert milk tube and request cappuccino clean from the cleaning button...icon of cleaning tablet surrounded by water droplets, second row second button from lefthand side...then follow screen instructions to step your way through the cleaning selections with +and - buttons.
I keep the cleaning fluid held high to allow it to continue running after the cleaning action.
Remember to run clean water through the pipes using the same method above.

Google x7 manual and you can download one of many copies online.
