Here are the steps.Hope this helps.
Insert a putty knife between the top of the kick plate and bottom of the front panel near the center of the washer, if you have an older model top load washer. Move the putty knife blade in and out in that area until you feel an obstruction. The obstruction is the kick plate retaining clip
Press the putty knife blade over the spring clip until you feel the clip disengage. Let go of the putty knife and grab both ends of the kick plate with your hands. Pull the kick plate away from the washer

ift the front of the washer with help from a friend, if you have a front load model Whirlpool. Slide a block of wood under the front of each side and gently lower the washer Remove the three hex head screws on the bottom edge of the washer kick plate with a Phillips-head screwdriver or nut driver. Pull the kick plate away from the washer.

Remove the kick plate or panel from dishwasher 1595

I have a different Asko model so this may not apply. The screws are Torx and you need the proper fitting. Everything is symmetric with the same screws and locations on the left and right. Mine has two screws for a front kick panel, two screws for the front trim piece that matches the door, and then four screws, to on the underside of the cabinet and two on the front to remove the final piece. There are also two adjusters that slide out after pressing a tab on the outside of the slider.

Where is the fuel pump inertia switch on a 2004 excursion?

The fuel shutoff, or Inertia Switch, should be located behind the passenger side front kick panel.
LOOK on the right cowl panel right in front of the door and below the instrument panel. It is simply a button, that you push to reset, and get the fuel pump pumping fuel again.
see illustration.

Suds or blocked pump

Hi

To access the drain pump, remove the front of the machine. Remove the kick panel at the front bottom of the machine. The 2 screws need just 1 turn to loosen, use a flat head screwdriver. There are a couple of hidden clips on the Kick panel that secure it to the machine. These are located at the top edges of the Kick panel, and can be pressed on (by sliding a wide, flat knife between the top of the Kick panel) to release the Kick panel from the front of the machine. Now you’ll be able to see the screw cap for the drain pump, it is located on the left hand side. Before removing this cap make sure that you have a container and lots of towels to clean the water as there is a risk of flooding the floor with water. Clean the pump and your issue will be resolved now. please post back for more information. Hope this helps...

Whirlpool gold ultimate care II dryer GEQ9800pw1-- Where is the service panel located? The back panel will NOT come off. I took all the screws out and it seems to be "glued down". Can you service this...

Hi,

To answer the question regarding access to servicing your model of dryer, it is done from the front. You'll want to re-install any screws/fastener's removed from the back before you proceed. Some dryer's can be serviced from the back...not your's.

**Turn off the power by way of shutting off the breaker at the service panel or unplugging from the wall**

Starting with removing the "kick plate" or "toe panel". The top can also be removed from the front, that requires unscrewing the two screws at either side of the control panel and "flipping" it back to reveal the screw's which hold the top in place. (move the unit out from the wall a few inches for clearance of the wall so you don't damage the control panel or the wall)

If you look closely to the seam where the kick and main front panel meet you'll see clip's at either end. With the aid of a flat screwdriver or puddy knife, push in slightly on these clip's (one at a time) as you pull the kick forward gently. The panel should pull forward on both sides and is then held in place by way of hinge bracket's/clip's at the bottom and will pull off easily.

With the top and front "kick plate" removed you can now remove the entire front panel if necessary. To do this...Undo the spring's from the door hinges. Loosen the screw's at either side supporting the panel (don't remove them, just back them out slightly) then move up to the top of the panel. On the inside of the cabinet facing the front panel will be a screw on either side you must remove completely. While you are removing these upper screws, lean into the panel or have someone support it as it will fall forward when the screws are removed as well it put's less stress on the screws allowing them to be removed with less effort.

**Before pulling the panel off completely take a picture or make a drawing of the location of the door switch wires, you will then need to remove the wires and the panel should be free to remove.**

Hope that explain's the procedure enough for you to move forward. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Good luck and thank's for visiting "fixya" today for your repair tips.
