Hello,
I just need to know what the name/# is for the needle that would go with this unit for the turntable.
My friend purchased the Sylvania SRCD 820 turntable AM/FM radio CD Player at a 2nd hand shop and it didn't have a needle with it.
Please let me know.

Without knowing what evergreen you have potted indoors, it is a challenge to provide you with the proper information. You can choose Comment and type in the name of the plant.
The dropping needles could mean the plant is located where there are cold drafts, or that it is over watered, or that it is under watered, or that it is in an area without the proper humidity, or that it isn't receiving enough light.
Needle bars have two screws: one to tighten the needle in place and another on the opposite side or toward the back to tighten the needle bar to the needle shaft. Usually a small thin screw driver will be needed.
Do exactly what I say and you will save yourself money in the future
Find the carburetor... look for 2 adjustment needles. If there is a red and white plastic caps on them, remove them, throw away. Theye are put on by the factory for epa reasons only.
Have a flashlight handy... on the carburetor look for a H and an L... these are the high and low needles...
To adjust the low, which is only for idle only... start the unit up , let it idle, if it's not idling well, then adjust the L needle in quarter increments only...
The H needle you adjust while holding in the trigger while turning the needle in quarter increments...
So to start off, turn both clockwise units snug not super tight... then back both out 1 whole rotation.
This is your starting point...now you can proceed to adjust as needed....
Hello nc girl 30: My name is Roger and I will help with your question. The most likely cause is the sending unit in the fuel tank. The tank unit tells the dash dauge where the fuel level is at. What is in the tank is a sliding scale resistor. When a bad spot forms that is where the gauge fails. To repair and replace the sending unit requires removing the fuel tank from the car. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
Hello bcousins.
Welcome to FixYa.

Turn your RF GAIN to MAX . Check that your antenna is grounded to the body.
Plug a EXTERNAL speaker in the back of the unit and see if you have sound.
If you have sound now, replace the speaker. Could be a few more things causing this, but
try this first, then let me know if you need further! Hopes this was helpful. Comments and Testimony
are always welcomed here. Thanks for choosing FixYa today and in the future.

Some radio,s will do that from time to time. Try to thump it real
lightly, but do not break it. It will sometimes come unstuck, some others have to be replaced.
It is nothing to worry about, it does not hurt your unit. Try that and if it does not work, and if you want to replace it, let me know. We are always here to help you. Your Comments and Testimony's are always welcomed here, and thanks for choosing FixYa today and in the future.
Hello, My name is Dane and I'll try to help you with your problem. The needle valve seat should be installed with the crown towards the needle. I hope this helps. Thanks! Dane
Hello TIMMY I guess the sticker erroded off the unit because the model# is the easy way.Plan B is get all the info off the COMPRESSOR plate/sticker for correct replacement.Brand name of the compressor is needed NOT the make of the unit doing it that way.Good luck.
Can you please tell me what brand name and model the machine? I need to determine how the needle is normally held in place and how you usually release the needle. I have a couple of ideas but having a little bit better picture of the needle holder will help me provide you the best solution. Thanks
