I keep getting a blank blue screen when I turn on my Mitsubishi 60 inch TV and then turns off by itself after about a minute. When I press "pip" on my TV remote I can see a small square screen...
there are 2 tuners in a rear projection tv. maybe the main tuner is faulty or the tuner's associated circuit has problem. if there is no signal these tv are programmed to turn the power off/stand by.

The power supply will need to be changed. The capacitors inside the power supply are not sending the correct amount of power to tv and will need to be changed.

TV is lock
Using the Mitsubishi remote, go to the locked function and when it asks for the code pres QV and 9 at the same time on the remote, this will work in any mode which may be locked, including entering a new password!
