I am paying heavy bills due to gprs connection,which i have never did activate,now i want to disable gprs from my n73 nokia mobile.Please tell me how to disable gprs.

there is an internet connection in nokia 5130.but it may be disabled.contact your customer care service and ask him to activate the GPRS settings. they will send you a internet settings of your mobile.kindly use that service to activate the GPRS and activate the internet connection in your mobile...
To activate GPRS please call the service provider.
please inform your service provider the make and model number of your mobile and they wil send you the GPRS and MMS settings.please save these settings and set as default setting. Now you can use GPRS on your mobile
you need to contact your service provider. just tell him/her the model of your phone (which is Nokia N73) and they'll send you settings via text message. just save the settings (you may prompted to enter pin code provided by network) and restart your device.
be sure to activate gprs first before sending multimedia messages..

Ask your service provider to activate GPRS on your number. (It is not free) Once activated, you can browse the net, use email, use Instant Messangers etc etc. Just like you do on a PC only the screen is smaller and some functions may not be available. I suggest that you should go to their office to set it manually. If they can't able to send you the over-the-air settings. Nokia N73 is GPRS capable, but I think it should be done manually.
type gprs to 56789. you will recieve a message saying that airtel mobile office is activated. now type MO to 2567 and recieve the setting .save it switch off your phone and on it press the 0 button and you are connected. you will be charged rs 20 per day to use this service. you can connect to any website using this moblile office

customer care of your network provider and ask for the activation of
GPRS ... they will tell you the procedure to activate it .... they will tell the number to which the message to be sent to recieve the settings .... so note that down and then follow the procedures told by them ... you
will receive the gprs settings(profile) also ... make sure of the
charges with them there will be many plans & then get activated ... after this you will able to connect to internet .... if
the customer people tell you that your handset is not compatible for
the receiving of the profile settings then you must tell them to give
the manual settings(includes ip address,APN,etc) so that you can only
create the profile and input the information given by the customer care
people...
if you have already subscribed the GPRS then call the customer care of
your network provider & ask for the settings by telling your model
of the handset ..
