Printmaster what versions of print master will work with 64bit vista?

    After 3 hours of hopping from site to site for help, none forth- coming, I have decided to consign my copy of printmaster to the rubbish bin where it belongs. Never again will I purchase anything from this company.

You can try if this works in compatibility mode in your pc - Try running in compatibility mode. Right click the program icon, click Troubleshoot Compatibility, wait while the problem is detected. Click Troubleshoot program > select an appropriate version of Windows the program is known to run in, try Windows Vista SP2 > start the program to see if it runs. If it runs, click next to proceed with saving the settings for it.

I had an old windows os, and the Print Master 16 (2004) was workingt properly. Now, I upgraded my OS to windows 7, and the Print Master 16, does not work. Is there any solution? JG
Broderbund PrintMaster Platinum 16 is not compatible with Win7(x86 or x64 bit)
Check -> Windows 7 Compatibility Center

You have to upgrade to a new version 18 to run on Win 7.

Windows 7 Professional + compatibility with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18
If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues, which is the case with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18, you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. You can find more about this Compatibility issue on Microsoft website: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

I tried to put print master 16 gold on windows vista and i got a message that i need a print driver where can i get it andwill it work then
Printmaster Platinum 16 is not compatible with Vista or Windows 7.
Presently there are not "patches" to make it works.

Your options is to use the newer version eg. version 18.1

What problems are you having?
If you have a new PC, then you have Windows Vista. Perhaps your version of Print Master is not compatible with Vista. You might want to check that.

Printmaster 10 was on my old gateway computer (circa '95). The newer version on my new laptop will not read the disk from the printmaster 10. Any suggestions?
Reinstall printmaster 10 from the old to the new that will fix your problem on your new laptop.

I have the Printmaster Platinum Version17 , I cannot save to pdf files?
As a work around untill we can figure this issue out. http://www.acrosoftware.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
This is a FREE PDF Print to file program.

At the top left of the page the are links to the PDF Creator and the Required GPL Ghostscript 8. The program will not function without it. Both programs work with x64 Vista. Read the website for the other benifits or the program.
