Disable the adapter in the change adapter settings page. Then re enable it and try it. You can also remove the driver from device manager and reboot, windows will automatically reinstall the drive and it may work. USe the troubleshooting app to fix or detect the issue. If the connection show it has internet but you can't reach a page, try another browser.

SOURCE: Failure to install D-link Air DWL-122 on Windows XP

I think the D-Link Adapter is a piece of ****. I have tried 3com and netgear and they all work well. Try setting Static Address instead of dynamic. Saying that - I didn't power down either as the instruction manual is totally useless.

SOURCE: the d-link adapter keeps going on then off every

Try another USB port if it's the power. If the same occurs, then try a powered USB hub which are relatibely inexpensive. If it's the signal that keeps dropping then you may need a higher powered router/apapter. I find PCMCIA and internal ones more reliable.

Please rate me if this helped J

Hi Sir! I am unable to connect to the router motorola CPE 35400 through my TP Link Wirless Adaptor I have tried the password Admin, Administrator and Pass but it doesn't work I also dont have it's...

It probably has a firewall not allowing you to connect. You will have to access the router setting and open a port forward to allow your adapter to connect to the router or could be the password was changed from the boxed when it was installed.

Hi am having trouble getting my computer to work wirless my computer is 4yrs old do you think i will need a wireless adaptor thanks

Yes, if your computer does not have a "built-in" wireless adapter, then you should buy a D-Link Wireless USB adapter. This adapter can be re-used if switch computers.

Toshiba satellite wont connect to internet. Wireless network adapter showing vista error code 31. Any ideas

Try removing the wireless adapter in the device manager and then re-boot computer. Vista should detect the adapter and re-install the drivers. if that does not work you might want to download the latest drivers and software from Toshiba and install them. Another thing you can try is to use windows restore to return the computer to a time when the wirless adapter was working.

Inspiron 6400 wirless connection

HI
If the browser shows working offline and wireless is connected fine then it could be an issue where work offline is checked in the browser.
In internet explorer 6 its found on File in the menu, if work offline is already checked, check it again to remove the check mark and then try, if its internet explorer 7 its found on tools, the same steps and in firefox under file,
Also try this step as well, if its internet explorer go to tools-internet options-and in internet options-go to connections tab-there is dial up and networking box-remove the dial up connections from the box-and check the one never dial a connection

also check the firewalls and antivirus programs, post your results.

thank you

Wireless adapter 802.11

you need to be a little more specific.

What operating system are you running?
Has the adapter installed OK? (In device manager it says its running correctly)

Does it search and display networks, or nothing at all?
