If you can't get into safe mode by pressing F9 during start-up you may have to reload windows. If you can get into safe mode, back-up data and reset the PC to the last configuration on which it worked. When you see the "Please select the operating system to start" message, press the F8 key. When the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, use the ARROW keys to select Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.

The beeps may indicate it is a bad video card if it is 3 beeps each time. Sometimes removing the card and placing it back in the slot my clear it up.

Cant activate windows xp home edition

Hi

Try and see what the BSOD says , when it suddenly reboots. Press F8 until it gives you a menu , go to advanced options or something similar highlight don't reboot or restart automatically.

Can you start your PC in safe mode. Try a crack although I wouldn't recommend it.

My computer freezes

The most common cause is memory. So, I would suggest removing and testing your memory modules one at a time to see which module is faulty. Good luck

Reinstalling xp home edition

Hi there.
Clean the lens on the CD/DVD rom and make sure that the install disk is clean and free of fingerprint smudges, then try to install again, one more thing to clean is the system memory, take it out and clean the contacts and slots with a soft, dry, clean paintbrush.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!!!

Pioneer super tuner 3

Go to Pioneer's website and look up your model number.
Yes, you need your model number.
You should be able to find a user's manual there.

Knowing newer Pioneer's, with the power off, press and hold the function button until a menu comes up, then press to advance to clock settings.
