Employee's mailbox locked and No one knows Admin password
Our admin password was apparently changed from the default (I think the default is supposed to be 1020000? We've tried several, including 23646, to no avail...), but no one knows what it is. Now someone's mailbox is locked because they couldn't remember their password, but we don't even know how to log in as the admin in order to reset the password. Any help??
I solved it. I reset the administrator password back to default by using Feature 985, 9 -- 73738767793. That set the admin passcode back to 1020000. Then I was able to reset the mailbox passcode by using Feature 983> Log: 1020000> Mbox>Change>(extension)>reset.

Need to change voicemail. First need to reset the passcode since I do not know the passcode to this phone. I use the steps to reset the passcode under admin, however I get mbox locked prompt. First, access your voice mailbox (press VM button & enter your password)
When you hear you have ??? messages, Press 7.
You will be prompted for another password (the Admin default password is 2275)
Press 2 administer mailboxes
Press 1 to reset mailbox password then follow the instructions. It will tell you what the current password is to the mailbox you select and you have the option to keep it or change it.

Each mailbox password is held in the system programming of the voicemail system. You need the system admin password for voicemail. Dial the access code for voicemail, if from a phone with voicemail then press * to get to the main greeting. At the main greeting dial * then the system admin mailbox number which is 99 for 2 digit ext numbers or 999 for 3 digit ext numbers or 9999 for 4 digit ext numbers then you will be prompted for the system admin passcode(default 1234). Press 2 for add/edit/delete (Never press 1 for new installation or you could delete all current voicemail programming and messages). Press 2 to edit mailbox, you will be prompted for the mailbox to edit, enter the mailbox number. Press # to skip to the passcode reset, enter the new passcode or press * to reset to default(999) then press # for each of the remaining parameters until you are returned to the mailbox menu which prompts for press 1 to add mailbox, 2 to edit mailbox, and 3 to delete mailbox, then hangup.

As far as the employees voicemail messages, while in the voicemail administration you can reset her password in the "administer mailboxes" prompt which is either 2 or 4 depending on the voicemail type you have. that will reset her password back to 1234.
