Usually the code is generated on your TV screen along with a URL to go to on your computer to activate the Blu-Ray access.

The URL will be something like netflix/activate...

Once you point the browser to the URL and input the code from the screen, it should activate the blu-ray access...

Try to hook up with net flicks through my 2 wire router and blue ray player blue ray tells me it fails gateway ping test.how do i fix

The router needs to hand-out an IP-address to the BluRay player -- either it is not doing that, or the BlueRay player is not properly accepting the hand-out.

Check the "network" settings on the player; be sure that 'DHCP' is enabled.
