I have lost the usb connector cable that connects my camera to my pc. Can you help me find one. I can't even find my owners manual to see what type of cable it is. I believe I need a USB to Mini B, five pin type cable, but am not sure. Can you tell me what it is I need for my camera and where I can get it. I have an i735 7.0 Megapixel 3X Optical Zoom Polaroid Digital Camera (Pink)

I think you're looking for something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/USB-2-0-A-Mini-B-5-Pin-PC-Digital-Camera-MP3-Data-Cable_W0QQitemZ110265688402QQihZ001QQcategoryZ42322QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/6-Feet-USB-2-0-A-to-4-Pin-Mini-B-Data-Cable_W0QQitemZ350074273471QQihZ022QQcategoryZ42322QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

They're both the same kind of cord..just wanted to give you a selection. I have the A300 as well so I know what the cord looks like.
You can get it on Ebay or go to a computer store(or a Wal-Mart) and buy it...make sure to look for "Mini USB"(the small end of the cord)..and make sure the other end looks like a regular USB(USB 2.0).

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

Looks a normal USB cable, with mini usb connector that goes into the camera, like the USB cables that are used for lots of phones, camera's and other small electronic equipment that can be connected to a PC.

Connecting canon digital camera to sony bravia tv via usb wont work. tells me usb is not supported.

It will not work with the usb this is normal.

Try connecting it with a cable that was provided, with 3 cinch connectors (Yellow, red, and blue) or you might have a cable with only a yellow connector. Or even if your camera is more recent you might have a mini Hdmi to Hdmi connector.
Then connect it to you auxilliary input on the tv.

Hope this helps

I have a Panasonic NV GX7B and want to upload my movies on to my computer. I have a USB driver (VFF0155) disc which came with the camera and a VFA0363 cable to connect the camera to the computer, is this...

The USB VFA0363 is for transferring still photos, and cannot be used to transfer video. You need a 1394 cable (also called a "Firewire" cable). You also need a Firewire/1394 card in your computer. The 1394 cable can be purchased with either 4-pin or 6-pin connectors on either end. You will need a 4-pin connector on the end that plugs into the camera, and either a 6-pin or 4-pin connector on the other end depending on whether you have the large or small connector on your computer. The owners manual for your camcorder can be found here:

I got a GR-DVL820u digital video camera. I wanted to transfer the videos to the PC and burn the CDs. I was supplied with only A/V cable but not the firewire cable which will connect the camera with my PC....

Firewire DV and USB are two different type of cable. This camera offers both, but the USB connection is only used to transfer still photos, not video. Most PCs don't have a socket for a Firewire DV connection, but you can install a Firewire add-on board in one of the PC bus slots. Then you need a Firewire cable with a small connector on the camera end and a bigger connector on the PC end.

You can download a manual from

this link

and also order cables, but they should be available in any camera shop.

Canon PC1045/PowerShot A300 I need an Owner's Manual and a USB cable. I need an Owner's Manual and a USB Cable.

You can download a manual and order a USB cable from the manufacturer's web site at http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=221&modelid=8775

Before you buy another USB cable, consider this: The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

There are also plenty of photo catalog software packages out there, some free, some not, that can transfer and catalog your pictures so you can quickly find pictures from Susie's birthday party, for example. Just do a google search for "photo catalog software".

Consider getting a card reader instead. You should be able to pick one up at just about any department, electronics, or office-supply store for less money than a USB cable.

By connecting the camera to a computer with the provided USB cable,
images on a card can be transferred to the computer. Some OS's (operating
systems) may need a special setup when connecting to the camera for the
first time. Follow the chart below. For details on the procedures in the chart,
refer to the “Reference Manual” on the CD-ROM and the “Software
Installation Guide” (included in the CD-ROM package).
Identifying the OS
Windows 98/98 SE
(Second Edition)
Windows 2000
Professional/Me/XP
Mac OS 9.0 - 9.1/OS X
*OS 8.6: See below.

Connecting the camera to a computer using the provided USB cable
Installing the USB
driver for Windows 98
Confirming the computer recognizes the camera
Downloading image files
Disconnecting the USB cable

Even if your computer has a USB connector, data transfer may not function correctly if
you are using one of the operating systems listed below or if you have an add-on USB
connector (extension card, etc.).
● Windows 95/NT 4.0
● Windows 98/98 SE upgrade from Windows 95
● Mac OS 8.6 or lower (except Mac OS 8.6 equipped with USB MASS Storage support
1.3.5 installed at the factory)
● Data transfer is not guaranteed on a home-built PC system or PCs with no factory
installed OS.
You can view images using: graphics applications that support the JPEG
file format (Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc.); Internet browsers (Netscape
Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.); CAMEDIA Master
software; or other software. For details on using commercial graphics
applications, refer to their instruction manuals.
