You have to go into settings, and go to your time zone. It is showing anothers time zone. I do not know where you live of course, but just go to settings and go to time Zones, it will say pacific time zone, or central or something like that. Let me know if that solves it. While in drive view, tap the screen on the blue status bar, on the GPS signal strength. A new screen appears showing the battery charge level at the top right corner.

Go to your preferences menu and scroll down a few pages until you see the clock icon. Click on that and you can set how your time is displayed.The unit actually gets the time from the signals it recieves and is probably the most accurate time piece you can get your hands on.

Your GPS may be new, but it battery has some trouble with it. Some batterys will get damaged before its gurantee period, and it is normal to all all batterys. If you are still in guarantee period, contact the service center for replacement of an other battery. In rare cases, the charger unit iside the GPS also get damaged, as it won't give enough voltage and current to the battery to get full charged. keep it charge for at least 20 hours, and check whether the battery get heated. there may be a slight heat, but not have too much. If overheats, the charger circuit inside the GPS is OK and the battery is bad. If not heat at all, the charger section inside the GPS should be checked. Anyway, you can check the battery only by the above mentioned method. Never attempt to open the device, as the internal circuits are entairly digital and can be get damged by improper service, without previous experience, and knoledge in digital electronics. If the battery is found bad, either replace it by yourself with a better one, which can be bought from electronic spare part shops nearby you, of get it replaced by its authorised service center. OK.
