Razor v 3 keypad will not light up,everything else is fine

Hi,keypad light issues for Motorola phones are usually caused by the flex of the phone and also the Keypad IC.

The flex of the phone is located inside the phone, it controls the functions of the screen an also the keypads of the phone.

The flex is a thread like object that is located inside the phone. To see the flex, you will need to disassemble the phone to get to the flex of the phone.

After replacing the phone flex, your done.

Also it might be the screen of the phone. But in other to know if it's the screen, you will need to test a new flex.

You can get a replacement flex from any of the phone repair stores around you.

also When buttons on a cell phone does not work , it is usually a problem from the Board of the cell phone. An IC problem...

IC are small chips that has different functions on the cell phone. Each IC chips on the cell phone has it's function. The IC controlling the function of the keypads npt working is damaged and needs to be replaced.with another IC chips.

You can get IC chips from your mobile company mini office or you can simply go to the nearest Expert repair store around you area to replace the damaged IC chip that controls the key pad not working.

Sometimes, it might just be dirt or water spill that is making it not to function. You can open the cell phone and clean the keypad area,
