There was no luck googling my manufacturer support. So I dont have a way to download the corresponding driver for a nortgate stax2517c model i-1
Heres what you could do and then we can get you the proper drivers.
Pop open the case. Usually there are 2 or 3 screws in the back holding one side (Usually the right side looking from the front)
Do that. and have a look at the mother board. On it there will be identifiers for the board. Either a make and model for the motherboard or writing on the audio chip or vid chip.
Now if you have extra cards in there try and write down what they are especially if your audio cable plugs into one, if it doesnt then dont worry about them
Doesnt matter if you know what you are doing, just make sure the power is off to the pc. and dont pull anything out :) a flashlight usually helps
Write down anything and everything you see in there and post it in here, then I can get you what you need just hit the ask button when you get me the information and i will get you what u need

well the computer say's nortgate but I was having a problem with it and someone rebuilt it for me and forgot to put back the audio and video drivers. So I dont know if the same parts have to be used or other parts from another type of computer can be used.
Missing OEM sound drivers for Northgate PC which seems to no longer be in business.
who made the pc?
