How can I delete phone numbers from the directory on my hand held phones? All five of my phones have around 6 numbers stored from past calls but at the same time, it has stopped recording the phone numbers of the latest calls.It has been a while since this has been going on so I should have lots of numbers on there from previous calls but it no longer records them & I can't delete the 6 or so that are on them. My model number is D56222-5

Not sure if this is the same phone, but when I enter a number/letter, the "Mute" button serves as a backspace/delete function. So what I did was go to Menu>Directory>Review, scroll to the contact I wanted to delete, and press "Mute", which asks me to confirm to delete the contact. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: DELETE A PHONE NUMBER FROM THE DIRECTORY

When you enter a number/letter, the "Mute" button serves as a backspace/delete function. So what I did was go to Menu>Directory>Review, scroll to the contact I wanted to delete, and press "Mute", which asks me to confirm to delete the contact. Hope this helps.

There is a way to delete all calls in the Caller ID log. With the phone system in standby mode, press Menu/Select (key to the upper right of the arrow keys). Scroll (up/down arrows) to Caller ID log. Press Menu/Select again. Scroll to Del all calls and press Menu/Select. You should see a Delete all calls? Press Menu/Select to confirm. There is no corresponding way to delete all old speed dial or directory listings. Edited post to TFG370 from tgf 370.

this is the manual for the TGF370 series. It just says that it stores the last 10 numbers called, rather than an address book.

4 click on the name--open

I have a vtech Dect 6.0 #6041 dual handset cordless phone but do not have a manual for it. I have tried numerous times off and on for months to view the manual online, however it only ever lets me view...
To delete a single entry from the call log, press CID/down. Use up/down to scroll to the desired entry and press MUTE/REMOVE. To delete all entries, press CID/down, then press and hold MUTE/REMOVE until it display "DELETE ALL?". Press MENU/SELECT.

To store a directory entry, Press MENU/SELECT twice to enter the DIRECTORY. Use up/down to reach "STORE" and then press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays "ENTER NUMBER". Use the keypad to enter the number and then press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays "ENTER NAME". Use the keypad to enter the characters and then press MENU/SELECT. The screen displays "STORED" and you'll hear a confirmation beep.

You can make a call with the call log or directories as follows:
Outgoing Call Log
Incoming Call Log
Extension Number Directory
System Speed Dialing Directory
Personal Speed Dialing Directory

I have a bt synergy 2110 cordless phone. There are 3 lights on the right hand side. one for power/in use, one for charging one for new call . All3 are lit up. How do i get the "new call " light to go out...
I may have a solution you can try.

1. Take handset out of cradle.
2. Press and hold bottom, right hand side, bottom button, marked "Calls"
3. Hold until "Display" shows number of calls, usually 10 and makes a bleep-type noise.
4. Now press top left button, marked "Del" in red, until the display scrolls through all 10 numbers and deletes all the numbers stored in the memory. The phone should then make a bleep noise.
5. Press "red handset symbol" (finish call) twice.
6. Replace handset onto cradle and the "new call light" should go out.

You should now be able to make calls.

Caller id Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue
First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.

Storing Speed Dial Phone Nmbers
Emergency/quick dial numbers: Pick up handset, push store, enter the phone number (it will not call the number), push store again, Push A,B or C. hand up handset. Frequently called numbers, pick up the handset, push store, enter the phone number, push store again, push key pad 1, or 2, etc. for memory location. Hang up handset. How to change a stored number. just repeat the sequence. How to clear a stored number, repeat the storage skip step 3 (do not enter the phone number). How to correct an error while storing, just hang up and repeat.
