Hi,

This is of concern.....especially if no recent rain.

Your vehicle is covered by warranty and should be checked by your local BMW dealership.

If there has not been any rain, but your floor is wet....it's possible your heater radiator core (radiator) under the dash, is leaking.

Seek immediate attention.

Cheers,

Why is there water leaking on my floor mat on the passenger side of my Rav 4

if it's just water, check the door gaskets. if it's coolant, you'll most likely need a heater core. past that, have someone spray water on the car while you look for where the water is getting in. you may need to pull the carpet back some to see.

My 1995 Honda Civic LX Passenger Floor was soaked with Water After Heavy Rains

Hi when I work for the Honda dealer 15 years ago We found that when a passengers side is getting wet , My best guess is you have air conditioning in your car. I would bet you the problem is the ac drain hose is clogged, it is on the passengers side under the dash, if you look up where you're feet would be just follow the rug up and you will see the hose remove the hose, be careful removing it from the condenser nipple because it is plastic and can break , use an air house and blow any dirt and debris that maybe clogging the hose . When you remove the hose have a Cup or small bucket to catch any water that's remaining in the condenser , This is a common problem . Once you have those cleared and the condenser cleared the problem should stop. Remember to put the drain hose back on , ps you do not need to put a clamp on the hose it is not under any pressure, after you fix the problem I would remove the seats and pull the rug out and hang it to dry, wipe the floor of any water , you may want to put a fan in the car to dry it out, because if you do not get everything dry your car will start so smell like mold and mildew, and the floor of you car will start to rust up, so get it dry, I hope this helps, I promise you that that's where the waters coming from if you have air condition, just remember water gos down hill not up. Let me know how you make out.

Water leak on rear floor board 2011 camaro convertible

I had water behind the seat under the rug and it was the bladder in the car. The water runs off the convertible top and into a bladder that directs it out through the bottom of the car. My bladder/hose broke/came apart and therefore water was now coming into the car under the rug with no visible water coming down the inside of the car. It was fixed by Chevrolet a year ago and now the other side must have let go because again I have water under my rug behind the other seat. I am less than pleased. Car is going into Chevy this week and I will again demand that the rug be replaced after the problem is fixed. If I didn't love my car so much I would leave it there because I am furious that this has happened again

2000 mercedes CLK 320 (w 208) driver side floor mat is soaked, most likely from clogged drain of driver side water collector. This happened after the vehicle sat for a week under a tree that shedding...

I have had the exact problem twice..remove the grills right below the front windshield..(out side of course) you will see a black resivor for catching water..but you must first un-clip all the clips that secure it..on the passenger side is a wep hole with a flapper..it happened twice to me..so i just removed the flapper..from restricting water flow..then the water drips down to the frame..i had inches of water..wet vac to remove it..remove rug and carpet below rug mat ...cause of mold..the water came down through the blower motor found behind the glove box..it's not to hard..common logic..i had pine needles clogging the resivor..or water trough..

How is the floormat on the drivers side attached to the floor rug? There seems to be two metal rings, one in the floor rug and one in the flloor mat. They are not snaps, just rings How is the mat attached...

There is a small plastic hook attached to the floor that goes through the metal ring on the floormat to keep it in place. the hook's open side should face the back of the car, so just pull the mat towards the drivers seat and it should come loose. No clips or anything, just that one hook and ring.

Water puddling on front passenger floor mat and

are you sure it is water, smell it to ensure it is not antifreeze (smells sickly sweet), if it is antifreeze possibly heater core leak, otherwise check for plugged evaporator drip tube (with a/c of course), could also be leaking body panel (cracked chalking etc). hope this helps

Water on the passenger side floor when it rains

Sounds like the drain for your heater case is blocked, there is a small drain tube on the engine side of the firewall on the passenger side, you can shine a light down there and poke a screw diver in it or just pull the elbow right off and it should take care of it.
