I cannot operate my built in webcam on my advent roma 2000 laptop.i have windows 7.the only time it worked was when i first got ny computer on the 30 day trial programme(cyberlink) that came with the computer.i have installed skype but it won't work with that either.do i have to download something to operate it?is there something you can download for free to do this?also.i have accidentaly blocked some websites with cookies...for example,i no longer can access my facebook page.as soon as i do,it closes internet down and says about cookies needing to be unblocked to open it.i tried everything but nothing works.thanks.hope you can help me.

Have you tried using it on a instant messaging program like Live Messenger or Skype?

Advent Roma 2000 webcam not working. There is usually a blue light when it is not in use and red light when it is in use but now there is no light at all. Please help?
click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there
if you are have trouble with your webcam

click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark?
right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp

click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here are a few you could try although i could not find one for windows 7
