Alright so I have a Logitech webcam C160 and I've used it plenty of times now and I've taken good care of it. The problem is when I plug it in and go to use it, the green light flashes then turns off, doesn't show anything and won't work. Is it my computer or have I broken my webcam some how? It's not the best webcam but I got it for Christmas so it wasn't my choice. Thank you.

1st You download Webcam Driver.
Logitech QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks webcam immediatelly shuts down my Compaq laptop as soon as it's plugged into the USB port.
After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Logitech webcam usually comes with a CD to install software and drivers. If you are using windows 7 your computer should recognize Logitech Webcam when you connect it to your computer's USB port! Its necessary to have internet connection for your computer and Logitech webcam is just plug and play that means!
Just connect the webcam to your computer and remaining is done automatically!
Also drivers for logitech webcam are available online at their site www.logitech.com

if you plug in the logittech webcam, if its using usb, it should autmatically install the software on your laptop. or it may ask for its cd, just put that in and follow the installation guide. if nothing happens comes up when you plug in the logitech for the first time, it may be on plug and play mode, just check start -- all programs and see if logitech is listed. if it is, click on it and you're all set.

Loaded software for c210 when prohgram start the image screen is very small and doesn't fill the monitor, is there a setting I can update. picture quality is good just small. [email protected]

using Internet Explorer only (other broswers won't work)
