Have TH-37PX50U TV. Had to turn the breaker off outside and ever since turning the breaker back on (TV is on a surge protector), the TV will not respond to a remote. I have the original remote and two others I've programmed to operate the TV and it won't respond to any of them so I assume it's the TV.

Hello!

You should check first if the IR sensor (Infrared sensor) of your TV is still working. It is beside the pilot lamp to where you point the remote to control your TV.

Use the camera of your phone or your digicam to check if IR sensor is still working.

Looking on the IR sensor of your TV via the camera of your phone or digicam, if the IR sensor is working you should see it illuminates. If not, then IR sensor or its sensor board is deffective.

The best way to fix it is to bring it to a certified technician to replace the whole IR sensor board.

Good Luck!

Need remote control for TH-37PX50U

The TH-37PX50U came with the EUR7627Z60 remote. There are several replacement remotes available. At Amazon.com, http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Replacement-PT-50LCX63-PT-50LCX64-TH-37PX50U/dp/B00IUCM224 . Another one: http://www.emtcompany.com/panasonic-th-37px50u-remote/rc64.html . A third version is here: http://www.remotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=th37px50u . Many other universal remotes will probably match the features of the EUR7627Z60 if they were programmed after 2005. (You'll need a remote has a menu button. Some low-end remotes may not match that feature.)

I hope this helps.

Panasonic TH-58PZ850U, red LED light blinks 6 times..TV will not turn on

Try disconnecting all of your HDMI cables and plugging the power cord of the TV into another wall outlet. If this resolves the issue, you may have had a small power surge from either your wall outlet or one of your source devices. It is recommended to connect your TV to a surge protector if you haven't done so already.

3 PANASONIC TVS HOOKED UP TO CABLE SYSTEM AND ARE ON 37" PANASONIC TH-37PX50U WORKS FINE BUT THE OTHER 2 TVS DO NOT WORK. THE CABLE SYSTEM HAS BEEN CHECKED TWICE AND WE ARE TOLD IT IS OK BY TIME WARNER...

unhook 1 tv at a time leaving 2 tvs each time hooked up. try every combanation Possable to see if it's a tv problem or if when you have all 3 tvs hooked it makes the signal weak. this can happen cable guys say no but it can been there done that. if 2 works and 1 dont in every combanation the problem is in the cable system. most cable guys check the signal outside. with the splitter block unhooked. this gives a false reading.

We had a near lightning strike and now my tv (sanyo model ht27744)doesn't want to come on.

Lightening may have caused a surge on your power lines to the house and to the outlet the TV was on.
Do other things work on that outlet? If not you tripped a power breaker. If they do work check this.
Unplug the TV for 2 min or more and plug back in.
Try bypassing your surge protector you had it plugged into. It could have died when the lightening struck.
(no surge protector?) Bet you'll buy one for your next TV.
Look for 3000 joules and up rating for a surge protector and insure it has protection for a cable/antenna input too.
If this doesn't work the TV may be fried or internal fuse blown.
Time to take it to a repair shop or depending on it's age (5 years+) it may be time to buy a new TV and surge protector.
Near Lightening strikes can effect appliances from several inputs that could be affected from outside like Power, Cable, Antennas, Phone Lines that come into your house.

Insignia ns-24ftv won't turn on

I hope it was plugged into a Surge Protector!!!!..

If not, make sure ALL your Breaker Switches are on in the house, RESET THE SURGE PROTECTOR (power bar thingy you got the tv plugged into..).... they will switch off usually to protect the tv...

I have a Panasonic 37 inch Plasma Viera 37PX50U The color has suddenly turned to all green and purple. Would like to reset factory color settings.

Hi dennisreno,
You should be able to set the tv back to factory default settings from the menu.
I will see if I can find the user manual and give exact directions.
Let me know if you find the reset.
